What does everyone think is the minumum number of wins needed for the front office guys to stick around? Also, if Holmgren/Heckert are fired, is Shurmur automatically gone too?

Heres another good one, Shawn Lauvao taken 3 picks ahead of Jimmy Graham.

I personally like Holmgren and Heckert and think they know what they're doing. On the other hand, I'm not a huge Shurmur fan... Hopefully our offense can improve since we now have an o-coordinator who can simply focus on his job.

That's my mindset too. I'm still surprised they didn't sign Flynn considering how much I didn't want him.

Patty Boy looked in over his head last season. Can't believe he didn't hire an OC, the fact that Holmgren didn't make him pissed me off. Not a huge Chilly fan either, outside of the year with Farve, I haven't seen anything from him that leads me to believe he knows how to coach a good offense in this league.

so does that mean the Browns should never draft a WR...because of the weather in Cleveland(where only half of the games are played) LOL

No idea. Wasn't sure whether he was implying that you can't throw the ball in Cleveland during the winter (period) or if it was a slap at McCoy.

I'm guessing a slap at McCoy. Still wouldnt make sense not to draft Blackmon for that reason, though. If you don't think McCoy is good enough, you would assume that the Browns would do something about it at the end of next season or draft. So that statement would only be true for 1 season, Blackmon's rookie season where much isnt expected at that.

Agreed. If they think Blackmon is an elite weapon (I don't), you don't NOT take him because you feel there's an issue with the current QB. The QB can eventually be replaced.

I want richardson at 4. WR with our next pick, and then a RT with the 3rd. Would really help our offense to go that route.

Seems realistic. I think we could even trade back at 4 and grab Luck at around 9 and use the 2nd 2nd round pick on Michael Floyd

A grade "A" draft for the Browns according to Kiper...

Cleveland Browns
Top needs: QB, RB, WR, RT, CB, OLB
Rd 1 (4) RB Trent Richardson, Alabama
Rd 1 (22) T/G Cordy Glenn, Georgia
Rd 2 (37) QB Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma St.
Rd 3 (67) CB Dwight Bentley, Louisiana-Lafayette

Analysis: Richardson is simply a home run at No. 4. You rarely say that about a running back taken so high, but he has such a high floor as a prospect -- the only downside is injury, and that's such a perpetual issue, one that extends far beyond the running back position if you're looking close. Glenn is a versatile player who Cleveland will move to right tackle. He can be dominant as a run-blocker and has great initial pop, and with his presence, Joe Thomas on the left side and Richardson in the backfield, Cleveland has to feel pretty confident in an upgrade for the ground attack. Weeden is capable of pushing Colt McCoy right away (he's a few years older) and could be a steal. So he's older -- if the Browns get 6-8 good years from him, will anybody really care? Bentley is a nice piece at corner, where the team can use some help, even though I consider this a pretty good secondary.

Replace Cordy Glenn with a WR and make the Bentley pick a RT (Massie...if he falls?)

Yeah, I want to give McCoy a couple of elite weapons and see what he can do. I have my doubts, but give him everything you can. If he fails, we are going to be inline for barkley or the next flavor of the month..i.e. RG3
