Good deal. Can't help help but play the "what if" game though. At one point in the season it was looking like the Falcons were not going to make it.

As I mentioned on the Falcons/Giants game thread, good thing the Dirty Birds sold the farm for Julio Jones, who was supposed to be their "missing piece", so they could go from a #1 seed (last year) to a #5 (this year) and be one and done. Heckert is the man!

Yep. Get that in Cleveland and people won't necessarily need to worry about bolstering that cornerback position opposite of Haden.

That trade is looking better and better......now we just have to draft an impact player with the 24th pick.

Very jealous.....they are fun to watch.

Don't we all....lol I think we are headed in that direction building our lines through the draft.

If the Donks pull the upset, I believe the pick will be #23.

yeah, no need to add a corner. Another pass rusher or good linebacker and all the sudden our corners look like all pros. Pittsburgh has used that formula for years....their corners are lousy.

I don't think Tebow is a very good QB but when he gets into scrambling situations he's dangerous. That schoolyard shit allows WR's to eventually break free, wide open......that's when he capitalizes. They have been doing it to the Steelers all game.

Mike Holmgren, Tom Heckert and Pat Shurmur should take a good long hard look at what is going on in Denver, and the fact they are still playing next week.

John Fox swallowed his pride and totally changed what he was doing to fit what strengths Tebow had, instead of trying to force him to be something he's not because that is what the system he runs mandates, and flexibility is completely not an option.

When they are assessing RGIII for this upcoming draft, I hope to God they can look at the bigger picture and see that the tools he (and quarterbacks like him) bring to the table are far more valuable than the high ground of being able to say you run a pure west coast system regardless of who is on the roster.

Mike should call John Fox and ask him if being alive in the second week of the playoffs is worth having to adjust your system for.

The threat of Tebow running put so much pressure on Pittsburgh defensively, and made that OT throw possible. Cleveland, playing them twice a year, could use a dual threat QB like that as it is a great equalizer.

I hope someone in Berea was watching that game and saw what someone like RGIII could do for us if we worried about putting him in a position to succeed like Denver has done for Tebow.

Couldn't agree with this MORE but I think it's wishful thinking. Holmgren can do no wrong in his eyes and the WCO is the perfect system.

I'm pretty confident that if the Browns bring in a good QB I'll be more confident about our future going forward than I am about Denver's future with Tebow.

I think it's cool that Fox adjusted his system to get them wins this year, but that offense isn't a long term answer.

I don't know that Tebow's their long term solution but his scrambling ability/threat to run loosened up Pittsburgh's defense. A QB like RG3 could present matchup nightmares.

True, lets hold out for braxton miller in a couple years.

The Ravens also beat Pittsburgh twice this season without a mobile quarterback. I wouldn't put too much stock into one game. Its not like this is the same Steelers team as recent years past, either.

Of course we could just trade with Oakland for Pryor and get the same result, but I don't know if that would be able to happen with Al gone...
