Bull & Fox (92.3) had a former NFL scout (Vikings, I think they said) and current analyst on this afternoon. A few quotes from this guy...

"Trent Richardson is the BEST running back coming out of college that I've EVER seen/scouted in my 12 (or 15) years of scouting (including Adrian Peterson)." Bull & Fox were dumbfounded and said "ever?" and the guy reiterated "BETTER than Adrian Peterson."

"If Brandon Weeden were 22 years old, we'd be talking 1, 2, 3, 4 in this draft. One scout referred to him as a '28 year old Matt Stafford.' He can probably start from day 1."

This guy also had a ton of praise for Tannehill and said this "buzz" about him was going around among scouts for months...that it's not just a recent thing.

I hope we get Claiborne! He is my new favorite player now that he got a 4 on his wonderlic test.

It's ridiculous how many dumb people make a ridiculous amount of money across all sports. It also makes sense why we see all these athletes go bankrupt.

Are there any football related questions on the wonderlic? I would like to see what these guys grade out on an all football wonderlic.

I think there is a question on the test that asks "what is considered a dropped pass in the NFL."

I took a 20 question Wonderlic test (so not actually the Wonderlic, but similar questions to what you'd see on it and they adjusted your score to what you would get on the real one)...it was fuckin tough, but anyone who gets <10 is a fucking moron.

like that i took the wonderlic test to get in the highway patrol in ohio. the first 15 or so are easy but they get harder as you go. 50 questions, 12 minutes to do it. the first question was "what is the 12th month of the year?" no caculators for math questions and no scrap paper.

thats a good point. i feel like it got tougher. got into a lot of fractions and shit. i got through 30, yet to find out my results, just took it last tuesday.

Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd made the most of his opportunity to work out for NFL scouts today.
At Notre Dame&#8217;s Pro Day, Floyd put on a performance that firmly establishes him as the No. 2 receiver in this year&#8217;s NFL draft, just behind Oklahoma State&#8217;s Justin Blackmon. NFL Network&#8217;s Mike Mayock, who saw plenty of Floyd while calling Notre Dame games on NBC, liked what he saw on the field and liked what he saw at Notre Dame&#8217;s practice facility today.

&#8220;Michael Floyd, to me, had an excellent workout,&#8221; Mayock said on Path to the Draft. &#8220;What you get with Michael Floyd, you get a 6-foot-3, 220-pound wide receiver who gets tremendous breaks in and out. His explosion off the line of scrimmage is exceptional &#8212; I would compare it to Blackmon.&#8221;

Most projections have Blackmon off the board somewhere in the 3-6 range, and Mayock said he sees Floyd going shortly after that.

&#8220;I think the interest should start at No. 7 with Jacksonville, Miami at 8, Carolina at 9, Buffalo at 10,&#8221; Mayock said. &#8220;Seven through ten there has to be some interest, but in no event can I see him going past the Jets at 16.&#8221;

Floyd was a four-year starter who is Notre Dame&#8217;s all-time record holder in catches (271), receiving yards (3,686) and receiving touchdowns (37).

I like Floyd, but only if we trade back to 6 to get him.

I am trying to think of my dream scenario for the first 3 picks...

1 is....Richardson, Hill, L. James(may be too high)

2 is....Claiborne, Tannehill, Jeffrey(I know, some don't want him at all)

3 is....Blackmon, best available whatever, Weeden

I wasn't high on Claiborne till I learned that he was a dumbass. Now I would trade away the whole draft to get him.

and actually, I didn't mean to put two running backs in the same draft...but I have had a few drinks...lol
