Especially without anyone playing RT... McCoy thought he had it rough last year? Just wait until there's a gaping hole 5 feet to the right!

With a year of experience, and an actual off season, the defense will be keeping the Browns in a lot of games. I don't see them only winning 2-3 games.

The defense better score 14 points a game and hope for two Philly D FG's. :D

I agree, we were a competant offense and couple of plays away from winnig 6 or so game last year. It could go either way. I wouldn't rule out anythign from 8-8 to 1-15.

tom brady, aaron rodgers, tony romo, joe flacco, the list goes on and on with qb's who didn't go number 1 and are doing fine. Like I said, keep your picks, draft talent/depth, and find a qb in the late first, or later rounds. I agree we do have to draft that franchise qb at some point, but we don't HAVE to mortgage our picks to go to number 1.

Agree. I see us winning 5-7 and picking about 8th. If Mccoy doesnt get any better this year we will need 2 trade up for a qb.

There is quite a bit of talent at QB in the draft next year; more so than this year anyways. Barkley, Bray, Landry Jones, and Tyler Wilson are all projected to go in the first round next year.

If we take Tannehill at 4, I will emphatically rebel against Cleveland nation!

I like Russell Wilson or Kirk Cousins in the late rounds. I know everyone on here hates Cousins but what about Wilson? He is a mobile and short (like Colt) but has a great arm (not like colt). What do you say?

I can't help but think how Cleveland fans deserve the right to tar and feather mangini/kokinis after seeing all these types of deals/potential deals lately.

You seem to have softened to the idea, however, knowing that the rebuilding will reach out past this season. Just auction #4 off like the Rams and load up!

Mangini really fucked up this team and now Heckert is getting a lot of the flack for it. Mangini brought in a bunch of his old vets and made the roster one of the oldest/slowest in the league. Heckert had to basically start over from scratch purging the roster after Holmgren wasted a year keeping Mangini's sorry ass around.

I'm not "softening" to the idea if you are referring to building around McCoy. I'd rather eat a pile of my own shit than watch that little midget take another snap in Brown & Orange.

ONLY way I tolerate him is if they intentionally TANK the season to ensure a REAL QB is brought in here. I'm not "softening" to anything regarding McCoy. I have no issue with them building the roster to add talent but NOT to surround him with. THAT's a lost cause.

It all depends on the value of the trade, but I am in favor of making a trade if we can get back a few high round picks over this year and next year. There are so many holes, that I can't see anyone selected #4 making that big of a difference.

Russell Wilson's arm isn't any more special than Colt's.

If we're going to take a late round QB give me Kellen Moore. Doesn't have arm strength for 45 yard bombs but he's the most accurate passer in the draft and does a great job of throwing in anticipation of a route (which is what the WCO requires).

Wilson is more or just as accurate than Moore. Also Wilson has great arm strength. Kellen Moore will be a disaster in the NFL.

Isn't starting McCoy all season, in fact, tanking? lol

Accuracy: Was the nation's most efficient quarterback in 2011, earning a 191.78 QB rating -- over 22 points higher than the next highest rated QB from a pro-style offense (Andrew Luck) … Showcased the ability to consistently throw receivers open versus single coverage as a senior, demonstrating impressive improvement in this area from his time at NC State … Delivers a tight spiral that is easily tracked and caught. Typically hits his receivers in stride whether on zipped crossing routes, touch passes dropped over the top of defenders or line drives leading receivers out of bounds on the deep out.

Arm Strength: Arguably Wilson's most impressive trait, especially considering his lack of ideal size. Can easily make every NFL throw, showing the ability to drive the football to the sideline on a line from the opposite hash. Can send the ball 40-50 yards downfield with a flick of his wrist.

Please no more project/lightning in a bottle type QB's. Fix the position when it's the RIGHT guy. No more "gamers" or "guys with moxy' or "he'll win at the NFL level cuz he won in college, high school & grade school but he's only 4 foot tall" guys. Get a QB that passes the eye test.

Colt McCoy will never be Drew Brees...just spewin' facts

EDIT: Let's get off the Colt McCoy topic...everyone knows my stance on it and I know how certain posters feel about him. No sense re-opening this can of worms.

I wasn't refering to him. I was talking about Russell Wilson.
