I understand you disagree BR, but it's ridiculous how much you shit on mccoy. We can surround him with weapons, and we can still get a qb next year, or the year after that, or the year after that. It's the regimes job to rebuild, and they said they were doing it with the draft. I trust them, and they have produced 2 great drafts for us.
Durkie...I understand that the fans don't feel he got his "fair shot" but H&H don't HAVE to give him that shot. He's a third round QB that they were hoping to catch "lightning in a bottle' with and he wasn't even supposed to play in his first season.
I also realize that he was put in an unfair situation with Mangini/Daboll being dicks and alienating him. I do disagree on the "not fair....new coach, new system, etc." Players (Andy Dalton/Cam Newton) deal with that all of the time. What I AM saying is that the NFL is not "fair." They don't have to be "fair." After 21 games they have enough of a body of work to judge him by.
They may "ride him out" this year but I highly doubt it happens unless they can't find anyone else. Believe me, I UNDERSTAND that you WANT to see what he will do WITH weapons. We differ in that I think that's an exercise in futility. We just disagree...that's all.
As far as the "All Knowing One" goes...played it through college, coached it for 5 years. Could put together a defense in under 30 minutes that would stop McCoy.
