Exactly, at some point you can't make a valid defense/excuse even though he is "your guy" because he's on your team. There is no excuse for Artest's behavior. Had he elbowed him in the forearm. I could see it being accidental. But when you can obviously see that he swings his elbow upward... That's intentional. Nobody throws there elbow upward when celebrating.

If Artest really was concerned about Harden, and really didn't mean to elbow him, he wouldn't have acted like a thug and try to square off with Ibaka. GTFO and take off your blinders failhook.

I have watched alot of basketball in my life, I have NEVER seen a player "accidentally" elbow someone like that. I'm amazed that somebody actually believes that was inadvertent

However, he felt Harden on him and he completely cocked his elbow forward and brought it back with force...
