This, or the fact that they weren't going anywhere with him. They obviously want to invest in the future of Steph Curry and want to get better defensively. You dont like Jennings game? Arent you A fan of D-will though as one of the best Pgs in the league? They put up about the same shooting numbers, almost identical in %'s and attempts. I like Jennings game, he just takes bad shots. Perhaps because he has had to with Bogut out and Stephen Jackson in the dog house with Skiles. With this trade, maybe he gets a fresh start along with Montae. That's just a lot of shots from your primary ball handlers. They will have to find a way to make that work. Offensively they could be a pretty scary match up for any opponent, but neither brings much in terms of defense.Hb31187;1115676 wrote:You dont like Jennings game? Yeah i agree they wont win very much, but dammit theyll be fun to watch lol. Until they get some help in the front court, theyre always gonna be screwed.

Look at their career averages and it's no contest. DWill is above 45% from the floor and avergaes 9 assists. Jennings is a career 38% from the floor and averages about 5 assists a game.

I like Jennings game, but he doesn't seem to make teammates better.

I think NY is starting to turn on Carmelo. I read an article earlier today about how the return of melo has screwed up the offense. He was frequently in the wrong spot which hurt the spacing and flow of the offense. And because of this it was having an effect on their already bad defense just compounding the problem.
Does Melo last in NY or is it starting to look like a failed experiment?
