And yeah I'll give you that, GABP does get solid draws consistently. Cincinnati is a lot like St. Louis though, a big time baseball town
I wouldn't go as far as comparing them to St Louis fans, but definitely more a baseball town than a football town.

As for the Steelers...you couldn't find a Steelers fan anywhere in Ohio before the 1970s. When they started winning, all of a sudden there were all these "life long" Steelers fan everywhere. Without a doubt the most bandwagon dominated fan base in sports -- even including the skankees and cowgirls.
Cue the "oh you are just jealous, why should we root for a shitty team/have fun rooting for a shitty team" butthurt response.
