Excited for this movie. Wish they would have made it a long time ago, but Peter Jackson has to be such a fucking perfectionist.

I heard not to bother watching this, it is just a condensed version of the trilogy, nothing different from those three movies/books.

Have you read the books? I would honestly hope they followed the storyline of the Hobbit, and didn't make shit up. I was quite disappointed in some of the stuff they left out of the trilogy.

Not a bad idea. Been a long time since I've done a midnight showing, so I'll have to hit this one up. The Two Towers is the only movie I've gone to watch by myself.

I personally don't think it's a big deal to hit the movies by yourself. Most people talk too much at the movies for me but I understand why some people think it's weird to go by yourself.
