Browns will end up on "C'mon man" for how they ended both halves.

Look, I've been a Browns fan for 50+ years. I've seen/suffered through everything there is to see/suffer through. I've become as jaded as they come. My hope before I die is to at least see the Browns in a Super Bowl. (I don't even dare to hope they actually win one; I know the limitations of my dreams...). There is no possible way we can get ANYWHERE close to that with this roster. The better draft picks we get, the better hope is that somewhere years from now we can be a contender. Maybe shurmur will pull a Davis and get stressed out and quit, and we can get a real coach to help is get there. In the meantime, one flippin win here or there means nothing to me.

Agreed it was terrible how they ended the first half but even worse was that offside to end the game.

I didn't get to watch the game, because of a family thing, but on the way home....some of the cleveland media were saying that the Browns were tanking, because there is no way clock management and playcalling can be that bad. Opinions?

Im so tired of people thinking teams "tank" if the Colts were tanking, they wouldnt have beaten the damn Texans this week.

Did a Browns coach tell Phil Taylor to jump offsides?

This is the NFL. You play to win, not for a draft position.

I agree but a coach told packers defenders to untie Suhs shoelaces throughout the game so a coaching telling Taylor to jump offsides isnt so crazy to believe lol

I agree. Every player/team should play to win--- every play; every game. You're not a pro if you do otherwise. as a fan, however, I feel free to hope my team tanks/loses (in certain situations anyways) to possibly improve things down the road. Tho, in this situation the odds of that happening are pretty slim.

People go into this game like we were supposed to win...only helps us in the future..I'm just glad that they made it close and covered the spread. On to the next loss and then the draft

Lol seriously

Your examples don't really work haha... One is used to help your team win the game and the other makes your team lose. I will agree tho that a coach would tell a player to do pretty much anything to try and help the team win.

Just getting on here after watching. They fought hard and were in it but got drilled in the ass by their own head coach and Phil Taylor's buffoonery.

Between Shurmur's throwing (Wallace interception) on 3rd & 1, his Keytone Cops' playcalling at the end of the half and calling a screen to Hillis on 4th & 5 he should've been fired after this game.

Hillis had a fine game and the run defense looked improved except for letting a giraffe bust off a 32 yard run. Draft slot still intact.

And then beat Pittsburgh to take it from them. Sorry, just a pride thing I guess. Drafting 3 or 4 spots higher doesn't guarantee anything IMO....especially if you don't trust anyone in charge.

Regardless, I'll leave this thread and not bother anymore.

Merry Christmas
