He's still a really lousy rebounder for a 7 footer. But that face up J he's developed is pretty sweet.

Yeah he must improve the rebounding, but only getting 18 minutes so that number will go up with more minutes.Mulva;1041938 wrote:He's still a really lousy rebounder for a 7 footer. But that face up J he's developed is pretty sweet.

He could be a 7-8 rpg guy with starters minutes. Hell, DJ White is their starting center right now. If Mullens can take over that role, and move White to PF they would improve that club dramatically (they would still suck though, lol).

Agreed, he could be a 15 ppg, 7-8 rpg and a block per game guy with starter minutes right now, which is crazy considering he got no run the first 2 years out of OSU.

Where is Diaw? Maggette will be the SF when he gets back.Laley23;1041969 wrote:He could be a 7-8 rpg guy with starters minutes. Hell, DJ White is their starting center right now. Ive watched a few games. Diaw and White play the F positions, and neither is a true C on offense. But on defense, White has been the guy to guard the opponents C.sportswizuhrd;1042363 wrote:Where is Diaw? Maggette will be the SF when he gets back.

Kid is finally playing up to his potential, albeit opportunity has a lot to do with that.

Once he becomes more consistent rebounding and gets a better understanding of defense he is going to be special. Bright future for him in Charlotte.

21pts and 4rebs tonight.
Does Charlotte have a choice but to develop him? How the F does Desongaiana Jop stay in this league? And the other guy Biyambo they just drafted so who knows with him.

He will start the rest of the year most likely and put up good numbers. He needs this on court experience because he has had so little thus far in his career. Pretty obvious that he can play already though. now it just comes down to gaining experience especially defensively and being consistent rebounding the ball.gerb131;1050306 wrote:21pts and 4rebs tonight.

They shouldn't have lost but then again they are the worst team in the league.

Gotta be tough trying to amp up the fans in Charlotte

Buying the name Hornets from NOLA would probably be the only way to amp them up. From what I hear, the old owner screwed them by moving. Then the expansion team came, the new arena was built on taxpayer money despite the issue being defeated on the ballot. Then supposedly the owner Robert Johnson named the team Bobcats after his nickname when it wasn't even an option for the fans to vote on. They got off to a terrible start with the city...Ironman92;1069341 wrote:Gotta be tough trying to amp up the fans in Charlotte
