It was a joke that you may be too stupid to get. I figured a super fan like you would know he goes by Byron now.

Less stupid joke than "there is this website called google". Sorry you didn't like it Raw Dawg. you mad because I don't like Wes Welker?

BJ Mullens is the worlds tallest "wigger". Not sure the good southern folks of Charlotte will buy into his fake Thug Life persona.

Actually he may fit right in down there, especially on the Western side of the city

Mullens is a good guy. He's held several free basketball camps for young kids in this area over the last couple years. Met him once, and he didn't give off the persona you claim.

Allen Iverson and Ron Artest have given "clinics" to young kids before...you obviously don't know Mullens, ask his last summer AAU coach what kind of "good guy" he is and get ready to be blasted.

I've heard some stories about Mullens from a friend up at OSU. Let's just say Mullens appears to be a dbag

Perhaps he's matured as he's gotten older, you know, like most people do.

Potential, you're kidding right?

No, I don't follow when every OSU player decides they will change the name they go by. I also wasn't trying to make a joke, so I'm not surprised that you didn't view it as such. The fact that you considered what you said was a joke tells me that your sense of humor is pretty poor...

Wish I could negative rep this post but you're right. It's not the worst I've seen but def our ghetto.

As for Mullens coming to the Bobcats... He's another 6 fouls at an inside position if he gets in the game. The Bobcats have excess big men with little talent (see Diop, soon to be Bismack Biyombo). This team needs to do itself a favor and tank it for a pure scorer. I think Kemba Walker, Gerald Henderson can be serviceable but beyond that this roster is pretty bad.

I'll follow my negative outlook with one positive. Charles Oakley is an assistant coach and could help BJ develop. He was credited for Kwame Brown turning it around and looking like a much better player last year.

He's 7 feet and can run and jump. That alone is potential. He's still really young. Maybe he never pans out, but look how long it took for Tyson Chandler to find his niche.

Sully will probably break the streak of OSU big men not doing much in the league. Think he'll be solid
You can't coach 7'.

Mullens should of stayed in school for at least 2 more years. Still with how the NBA throws money away on players he's a millionaire so who am I to talk

He couldn't beat out Dallas Lauderdale to start at OSU. Told me everything I needed to know.

Scored 8 points in 14 minutes last night for the Bobcats, couldn't find stats for Lauderdale.

BJ could play but he should have stayed longer because he'd be better if he had.

Or maybe he would have always sucked and thus hurt his draft stock to the point he would no longer be a first rounder. He made the right decision
