Hard to imagine. The Raiders are playing in their 13th Stagg Bowl. Coack K has a true dynasty in Mt Union. Love going to their games, and we talked about maybe trying to go next Saturday, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Go MUC!!!!

have watched both of these teams play a couple of times this season and think it will be a very good championship game.

Jeff Donovan is a very solid quarterback and should be able to help his team move the ball against a very solid defense.

End the in though I see Mt. Union winning this one.

See, who needs a playoff. We could have just skipped everything and had these two play to begin with.

The past few years have really stagnated in all three playoffs.

Appy State went three straight before losing last year, and now this year in the playoffs. NW Missouri St went to five straight titles before finally beating GVSU, who was in the third title in five years in D2. And in D3, Wisconsin-Whitewater and Mount Union will now play in five straight title games against eachother.

I know it goes in cycles. Remember Rowan used to be good in D3, YSU, Marshall, and Georgia Southern were good in DI-AA, etc.

C'mon Mount Union, win another for Ohio.

I had read today he was taken out after a helmet to helmet hit. Hopefully not a concussion, but this may mean that Cecil Shorts will see more time at QB. If it's not a concussion then I'm sure we'll see him in the Stagg Bowl

Yeah, he picked the best two teams in the country to play each other in the title game for the fifth straight year. He really went out on a limb on that one.

Boring. Same teams every year. There has to be a reason beyond good coaching to why this always happens. I know it is touchy subject since mount is 10 miles from where I am but it is what it is. Those kids get more of there school paid for then the average in there division.

Looks like the winner of tomorrows Stagg will be a woman--mother nature. Its a virtual whiteout in Salem VA and they are supposed to get upwards of 18-24 inches of snow. It just started just before Mount hit the field for their practice this afternoin, which they cancelled. The field crew is supposed to work thru the night but my guess is tomorrow won't be a true test of football. Hope I'm wrong.

Mt. Union has an amazing record of success under Coach Kehres and I doubt he thinks or any of his players think that winning all the time is boring. They just think that winning is what they are supposed to do and anything else would be unacceptable. Are you suggesting impropriety with regard to the financial support of the players at MUC? At WW? Why is it that people who win "too much" must be cheating? I feel that the program at MUC is incredible and deserves our congratulations. I'm hoping the Raiders bring home another Championship this Season. Do you realize what an impressive accomplishment it is to be playing in your fifth straight National Championship game? Urban Meyer, Jim Tressel, Mack Brown, Nick Saban, Les Miles, and anyone else who has been there lately can eat their heart out. Larry's been there FIVE TIMES!!!!!!!!!!
