Avg 25 pts a game in the series is hardly shutting him down.

Also, aren't you the one who claimed that you watch more football than most people on here put together and that DeShaun Thomas would be an ideal fit for the Cavs at 2? GTFO with your nonsense, and then maybe you'll have some room to be giving tips.
Deshaun Thomas as an NBA 2? lol

That settles it, you didn't watch the games, Lebron took D Rose in almost every 4th quarter and locked him down.

LeBron is a freak, much like MAgic was. They're capable of playing multiple positions and dominating them.

Rose wasn't exactly shutdown, but LBJ slowed him down enough. I'm confused why LBJ wasn't able to do the same to Dirk and Terry in the Finals though?

Your guess is as good as mine bro. It's crazy that Lebron could slow down DRose when other NBA PG's can't even do so, that was the whole point.

Well, other NBA PG's, aside from Westbrook, can't really match D Rose's combination of speed and power.

It's not that hard to fathom.

1. Gives me a young, talented player at perhaps THE key position (PG)
2. Gives me a longer window of opportunity to both win a title and have said player playing at an elite level
3. Gives me more options in terms of who I can surround him with because Kyrie doesn't need to be the primary scorer in the offense.

That is all...
I absolutely understand your point. Don't necessarily agree, but you're not absurd for believing it.

You've played ball correct? you know how important leverage and center of gravity is when it comes to playing defense? There is no way a 6'8'' man that size should be able to sit down and stay in front of the fastest and quickest player in the league who is 6'3''.

Kyrie is obviously an incredible talent and I'm excited that he is on our team for the foreseeable future.

Lol, nice response. And all I said was Thomas was someone to keep an eye on going forward. I'm guessing you were one of the ones who are thinking he has no shot at an NBA career .

Wrong. Also, nice "fact-based point".

Interested to see how the Cavs compete tonight now that the Heat have Wade back.

He definitely deseves to be in the conversation. Who else would be up for it? Hawes I'd imagine, maybe Lowry, Lawson? I'm really just trying to think of guys that are having better than expected seasons.
