Haven't seen much of Melo this year. I know he looked completely lost last year as a freshman, but is supposed to be a very good athlete for his size.dave;1055717 wrote:Don't think I'd really want any of those guys. Mayo would probably be the next Larry Hughes.
If the Cavs don't get a top 5 pick what does everyone think about Fab Melo? He's been under the radar so far.
nbadraft.net has the Cavs taking Meyers Leonard at #14 in round 1. He could be an intriguing pick, thought he played very well against OSU this year.
The guys I listed (outside of possibly Mayo) aren't franchise changers, but I think they each could fill a role that the Cavs are currently missing. There are some other unrestricted and restricted free agents out there that would be more attractive, but are less likely. Another name that I have come across is Wilson Chandler. He will be able to sign an NBA contract in a couple months after fulfilling his commitment to his Chinese Club. He will be a RFA of the Denver Nuggets. With Gallinari becoming a RFA after this season, and their large contracts to Nene and Afflalo I would think they will have to choose between Galo and Chandler.
