Notre Dame goes out, grabs a guy who's never won a BCS bowl game and has never won in a conference that anyone cares about.
Michigan goes out and grabs a guy who's never won a BCS bowl, and never won anything other than going slightly above .500 at a mediocre program.
Ohio State goes out and grabs a 2 time National Champion, undefeated in BCS bowl games, and has won a conference that at least people in the South care about.

Truly is like Night and Day...

Enjoy!

He had a total of zero BCS bowl wins and 4 National Championships.

The Notre Dame coach has won 2 National Titles and killed a kid. He wins!

Judging by the performance of Notre Dame this year, I don't care if the guy won 1000 National Titles. He is not a good coach, and he will never do better than mediocrity at ND.

And Michigan's no name coach is coaching in a BCS game after 1 year.

Pretty good hire if you ask me.

There really is no act, I'm just pointing out the massive differences between Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame. I remember Domer fans specifically saying how badly they wanted Urban Meyer and then they couldn't get him so they ended up with a guy who isn't a good coach and will never win anything. Michigan wanted Les Miles, but couldn't get him so they got a guy no one has heard of outside of Michigan.

Ohio State wanted Urban Meyer, and got Urban Meyer. Easy PZ, eat a bagel squeezy.

For some, trolling the internet for years and year is more important than doing something with their life.

Actually...Michigan did NOT offer the job to Les Miles this time around.

And how does one "back into" one of the best turnarounds in major college football? He took Ball State to a 12-0 season, flipped the record at San Diego St. and then completed a huge turnaround at UM. His resume actually parallels Urban Meyers early career. Give him a couple more years and some defensive players that are talented and he could be right on par with Meyer.

Maybe next year he can win his own division!

Something an Ohio State coach has never done.

Urban Meyer's career before coaching UF:
39-8
Fiesta Bowl Champion, Sporting News Coach of the Year

Brady Hoke's career before coaching scUM:
47-50
Poinsettia Bowl Champion, Lost MAC championship game to Buffalo Bil... I mean Bulls.

Yep, those two careers pretty much mirror each other.

LOL, there is no comparison to Brady Hoke's career and Urban's. None. You could maybe compare what Kelly did at CMU and Cinci to Urban's stops at BG and Utah, but I don't even like that comparison. I think Kelly mirrors Tressel's career path pretty damn well though.

Yeah, because Hoke took over shitty programs.

Damn it, I wasn't going to get involved!

Urban Meyer never played in the Upstairs Mattel Bowl of Northern Colorado brought to you by Enron like Kelly did either.

Don't get me wrong I think Hoke is a damn fine coach, and I look forward to a ton of Hoke-Meyer battles this decade, but that comparison is a stretch. Hoke took over programs on life support. Meyer, with Utah and Florida, inherited a sizable amount of talent to work with.

You're right, BGSU was loaded with talent before Meyer went 17-6 there over 2 seasons.

At least the coach before him had a winning record.
