I think the point when you're Ohio State and ranked at the top to begin the season year in and year out is to win national titles. Success is so subjective. But hey, as long as you're satisfied pissing on UM and ND fans. But remember OSU isn't at the top of the food chain so...
And I didn't answer your questions because they weren't relevant to anything I'm saying. So you're welcome.

OSU is definitely at the top of the food chain. Most BCS bowl wins and appearances of any school. Most BCS conference championships too. Not to mention a National Title(undefeated, undisputed unlike every SEC title in the past decade) and a Heisman winner. Enjoy!I Am Ahab;1017755 wrote:I think the point when you're Ohio State and ranked at the top to begin the season year in and year out is to win national titles. Success is so subjective. Actually I think BAMA or LSU is gonna the top dog bc they're gonna be NC for the second time in a few short years. I'll enjoy for sure cuz I like watching both teams.

Enjoy your fraudulent championship. LSU is probably the only team I'd put on par with the Buckeyes in the BCS era, because other than the 3 years they've been to the title game, they've accomplished nothing.I Am Ahab;1017757 wrote:Actually I think BAMA or LSU is gonna the top dog bc they're gonna be NC for the second time in a few short years. Still waiting for your list of relevant teams and the team that you root for. Enjoy!

Think of your traditional powers who've played and won multiple NCs in the past 20 yrs. Those are the teams I like watching. Teams that are relevant: LSU and ALABAMA.
I'd put any team who won or played competitively in multiple NC games in the BCS era ahead of the Bucks. BAMA very soon, LSU, Florida, Texas, USC. Granted three of those schools fell off but so did OSU. But the fact that they've al (the three wh r struggling now)lbeat OSU head to head won at least one title and won or were in the ball game in a second puts them ahead of OSU in the BCS era IMO.
Oklahoma is up there but I don't think they've won a title lately. Lost one or two. So I'll give you that one. I like watching NEB though they've been down recently.
OSU has been kind of a disappointment. With such high expectations and the advantage of starting at the top of the polls, plus playing the B1G, they should have won more than one NC. Or at least made it a game another time.

Oh well. Just my opinions. But, at the end of this season either ALABAMA or LSU is going to be celebrating their 2(+) National Championship in recent seasons. OhioState fans are going to be bitching and moaning about something having to do w the SEC or the BCS.
Thats all I need to know to tell me who rules college football. Better luck next season.

Maybe you can answer some questions though. Who would you say are the top NFL teams of the past decade? What order would you list them?

Exactly. Your opinions are irrelevant. Facts are on my side. Enjoy!I Am Ahab;1017780 wrote:Oh well. Just my opinions.
And no one cares about the NFL, they actually have a playoff to determine a true champion. Ohio State would have won 35 championships in a row if we had a playoff. It's too bad we have to watch the fraudulent SEC teams duke it out for a paper championship.

Have to put Florida there too. They've won more NCs than OSU and destroyed OSU on the way to one of em. Heck, OSU wanted Urban Meyer bc of it. It's the whole if you can't beat him get him to join you idea.Tobias Fünke;1017854 wrote:USC? Oklahoma? Alabama? Texas?
