Indiana started hot and had a good lead, but its pretty much been all UK ever since. Bledsoe has been hot and Wall just did his best dunk of the season over a Indiana player.

Indiana came right back and made it a 42-41 UK lead at half. 3's have been flying today. Indiana has been looking good despite 4 losses. They just need to get rebounds.

Indiana is a MUCH better team right now than they were 3 weeks ago in Puerto Rico. That tournament was really tough on them with the travel and they had no clue what type of team they were. 3 Loses came from that. Now they have Maurice Creek and Christian Watford who they know are there go to guys. Rivers knows his role as a PG now, and they finally have a set rotation which Crean was still trying to figure out up until the Maryland game.

I dont expect Indiana to be able to keep this up. Their best chance is to keep it close for the first part of this half and hope the UK young guns tighten up in a tough environment on the road. That and IU needs to be able to play M to M because they cant rebound out of that zone to save their soles...

UK 90
Indiana 73

Creek for IU had 31, Bledsoe had 23, Patterson 19, Cousins 14 (i believe), and Wall 11 for Kentucky

Hard to believe, but John Calipari tied Adoph Rupp's record (10-0) for the best start for a UK basketball coach in his first year on the job. The 'Baron of the Blue Grass' did it during the 1930-31 season. The Wildcats play four "gimmes" (Austin Peay, Drexel, Long Beach State, Hartford) before they meet Louisville. It looks like Calapari is going to set a record that will last a long, long time.

lol, you should throw Louisville into that "gimmie" category as well. They have looked terrible this year.

The Cats have looked awesome at times and other times they look a team filled with a bunch of Freshman. I'd say by the time these kids get a few more games under their belts they are going to be hard to beat and could make a really deep run in the tourney. Wouldn't that be sweet to see Calipari get a National Championship in his first season?
