Steelers not getting a lot of help so this game really may not mean that much.

Denver's win prevented the Steelers from clinching a playoff berth but I think the bigger impact is that it almost ends San Diego's hopes. Steelers need the Chargers to rise up and beat Baltimore on Sunday night.

Will we have Ben, Pouncey, Woodley or Harrison?

I doubt all of them. Hopefully 2 or 3 of those guys.

Pretty sure the Steelers win nail down at least the No. 5 seed with a win Monday night or in any of their three remaining games.

49ers come out hungry and win this game. They know they can't fuck up anymore or else they will lose the 2 seed.

I think Ben plays and maybe Woodley. However, I think Pouncey will be out and Harrison will be serving a suspension. If Ben plays we've got a shot.

Two very good defenses going at it! Niners in a very tight game 16-10

Steelers need to start strong. Niners are starting to face some adversity right now. Getting a couple of quick scores could cause them to crumble. Letting them stick around the entire game could give them their swagger back.

Too many injuries for the steelers and gore has a big game. Niners win 21-10

If Baltimore loses, the Steelers will win Monday night.

Mark it down.

They'll seize the opening and find a way.

If Baltimore wins, the game will be up in the air but leaning more towards San Francisco.

Still not sold on San Fran. I think this game can be had by the steelers...IF they are not decimated by injuries and such.

It is a tough decision.......looks like they will have the 5 seed no matter what. It is a NFC game so a loss isnt as bad as if it was against an AFC foe for a tiebreaker..but with the ratbirds in the drivers seat who knows.

Ben may just have to sit this one out to heal up a little bit.

Is P. Willis out? Would love to see him blow up Ben.

I also wouldn't put money on any team being led by Alex Smith

Steelers could be hurting if Woodley doesn't play.

Chris Carter has also been banged up at outside linebacker.

With Harrison being suspended and Woodley Doubtful. The Niners may be able to run the ball effectively enough to keep the Steeler offense off the field. I still think it's a close game, but Niners come out with a win.

Even at 285 lbs, Keisel has the capability of lining up at outside linebacker.

They may consider that. They would still have Hood, Heyward, Hampton and McLendon to rotate on the defensive line.

I hate/love Harrison. I think he's a pos ( dudes been trouble since he was playing HS ball in Akron, when his suspensions from games began, go figure), a moron (wouldnt visit the white house because the prez wouldve invited the Cards had they won the SB. Sound logic there), and dumb as a Rock (he doesn't yet understand that you can't hit a QB in the head, much like some Squeeler fans on this site).

Yet he's a bad MF'er and you want that guy playin LB on your football team.

He deserves the suspension by virtue of the fact that he just doesn't get it. YOU CAN'T HIT A QB IN THE FACE WHETHER THERE WAS NO PLACE ELSE TO HIT HIM OR NOT. NOT IN TODAY's NFL.

Now, BC you couldn't get through your thick, pointed skull you have to sit out a big game on the road in December in the midst of a playoff race.

Tomlin should rest his injured and throw the game and he should say as much as early as possible so the ratings will be negatively impacted.

No matter what Tomlin says on who is playing can the ratings get less than last night's titanic struggle.

Harrison is a bad, bad, bad and violent man. Gotta love it.

This is exactly the kind of test the Steelers need on the road, key players injured and one suspended.

They'll most likely be on the road path in the playoffs.

Here's your playoff clinching scenarios

Steelers clinch playoff berth with:

Oakland loss or tie
Tennessee loss or tie
Denver loss
N.Y. Jets loss

or

Steelers win or tie

They only need one of those teams to lose on Sunday.

Ben is listed as "questionable" and his ankle is "day to day." I think he plays, if not we're probably screwed.

I'd imagine that will change this week.

Dixon will be dressed for Monday night.
