You think he came back from a broken wrist in 2 weeks without PEDs?

The point is Albert is coming to the point in his life that PEDs would really help him extend his good performance, but he will have a tougher time getting that help than Bonds did.

I don't like it. I want to see him batting 3rd 19 times a year against the Reds. I don't like it when the best players go to teh west coast....don't get to see them as much.

Biggest losers in this whole story(other than the Cardinals)....

Houston Astros. Moving to the AL West after next season and can't escape Albert.

Pujols took less money and informed the world on his decision on National Television?

Must have missed it.

Pujols did the right thing by going to the AL considering his age. He'll be able to switch to DHing in the next few years when he turns 40.

In what way does this parallel the LeBron situation?

Outside of Pujols being a star player leaving his current team, which happens all the time, it doesn't.

Cardinal fans think he's a Judas because he left to LA. That's it. They felt he owned St Louis and could've been as legendary as Stan Musial.

NOT. EVEN. CLOSE.

1) Pujols wasn't originally FROM the St Louis area.

2) He WON two WS with the Cardinals

3) He didn't go on TV to announce he was "taking his talents to Anaheim."

you better than anyone should understand how loyal St Louis baseball fans are to their idols and the $230M to play 10 yrs more in the NL was beyond comprehension in the first place...so the guy that had a 60 minute episode dedicated to telling us what a great guy he is, and how much he loves the fans in SL...was all horse crap like so many other sportstars of today. Did he really need that extra $20M to put food on his table and feed his babies?

Like I said, he knew the AL was the right move. He can't play 1st base when he's in his mid 40s.

In regards to your signature, rep power, not rep points, are based on post count, length of membership, and rep points. That's how his rep power is 8.

OK now you're getting it...He fucked over his fans to squeeze in another couple of seasons to pad his personal stats...like he wasn't going to be HOF on 1st ballot anyway?

...and as for my signature, its for fun not explanation.

He didn't fuck anyone over. Perhaps the guy loves playing baseball and wanted the best opportunity to extend his career?

As a Pirates fan, I love that a guy whose line against them was something like .658/384/2383 over the past decade or so is gone from the division.
