Massillon kicked off the Larry Taylor era last night with a 91-66 win over Akron Kenmore. Led By Cadiz Harper with 29 pts. Massillon forced 30 turnovers. Bobby Conley added 21, and Gareon Conley, 16.

Larry Taylor is at Massillon now? This is the former Jackson coach, right? We had some wars with him when he was there, but that guy is one heckuva coach and has my respect.

I hope the parents and kids give him a chance and buy into his system. He's a proven winner and can get the job done.

Agreed, I read a lot of things on Massillon proud about will the "city kids" be able to adapt to his discipline, from what I've seen AND heard, the kids love him. He's made them work hard, and they've been successful, I guess we'll have to see what happens when they go through a tough period. I think everyone knows what we have here though.
