You are never going to convince these fanbases to not watch or support the BCS. That's never the goal anyways, you know these people will watch. The real money is made from people who are not fans of these teams and the "casual fan." Public sentiment really seems like it has gone the other direction on the BCS. I honestly do not see surviving past the next contract as is. I think we see them start heading towards a playoff next time around

Now if you're talking about getting a huge amount of people, and completely boycotting the entire bowl system (not just the National Championship Game) over the course of a few years...then it might help your cause in getting a playoff.

So what's the solution? I have yet to see a playoff solution that is any more fair than what we already have. Like I've said many times...the NCAA has never recognized a National Champion at the highest level of collegiate football.
