Michigan picked up commit #24 today, 4* WR Amara Darboh. WR is a much needed position for Michigan.

Damn. Good pick up. Was hoping he'd be Irish. Would Michigan still have room for Payton?

They need receivers bad. I think they would still take Payton if he wanted to come.

A guy with the background of Amara is going to give everything he has. Now time to land Stefon Diggs. They will definitely take 1 more WR, tiny shot they would take 2 if they don't land Dunn and can't land a CB they want.

I had no idea Diggs was seriously considering Michigan

Michigan has apparently decided to part ways with 3* DB recruit Anthony Standifer. It was reported yesterday that it was for academic reasons.

I'm not entirely sad about this. I think we can fill that slot with someone of greater need.

Who is likely to benefit from Standifer's decommit?

Academics? That's interesting considering he has offers from ND and Northwestern. Sounds like a pulled scholarship, imo.

...... The Penn State scandal and looming Ohio State sanctions could give other Big Ten schools a recruiting edge, but Michigan coach Brady Hoke said he wouldn't touch those topics. "If we've got to talk about the negatives of other schools," Hoke said, "we don't have enough positives."

It has nothing to do with other offers. He got his first semester grades and doesn't qualify.

Sure it does. From what I understand, ND doesn't offer unless you're qualified--do you happen to have a link to this?

Neither does Michigan (except for the Dorsey debacle under RRod). Both offered before he was in school this year. What do you need a link to? The only news I have about this is from pay sites.

What we may have is that he doesn't qualify for Michigan, but he does per the NCAA. It's happened before. Consider this...
The mother of former #Michigan commit Anthony Standifer says grades are not an issue & her son is still a D1 qualifier

all I see is that she says her son's grades are not an issue, and that he's still a qualifier...I don't care if it's on a pay site or not, SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!

No way Michigan is going to land Diggs. As much as that sucks, it just isnt going to happen.

I def think we will get Yuri Wright, which is awesome.

I see Dunn to osu.

Michigan doesn't seem to be in Digg's plans. I agree with you about Dunn, hope I'm wrong.

Dunn will not NOT be an early enrollee. He had 2 weeks to get his schoolwork done but not that won't happen. We may not see a decision for a while yet.

They told Diggs no over a week ago. Disappointing but understandable.

Dunn obviously wants to go to OSU be realizes it might be in his best interest to head to AA. Can't blame him for struggling with the decision. I wonder if Hoke would be willing to wait until signing day to keep a spot open for him?
