most thought Michigan had maybe a slight edge and with Stacey decommitting maybe that meant Garnett was going blue. From a few good sources looks like he may have changed his mind last minute.

Last few days, Garnett to Rutgers was the speculation. Previously, it was thought Michigan had the edge.

Here is a thread started 26 hours ago at the 247 site...
Everyone seems to think he is going to Standford. Both rivals & scout think he is all Standford and now TomVH is less optimistic about Garnett than he was before? Not good at all for us. He was thought to be a lock to go to Michigan now not so much. It would suck to lose him.
So it seems all the sites knew it was likely. I didn't even tune it because I assumed he was going to Stanford. It sucks, but hopefully UM will get at least 2 of the remaining 3.

Sounds like Muller is solid with Rutgers for now. Reeves still remains 50/50 between OSU and Michigan. Some think Williams could be the difference. He is supposed to announce on Saturday.

All of Rutgers commits might not be "solid" anymore.

B.S.

The feeling the past 1.5 wks has been Michigan. I have a Michigan friend (who knows quite a bit about all things Michigan football) and he's said for about 1.5 wks now that Garnett to Michigan is about 80% a lock. Michigan-insiders thought they had this one in the bag.

Actually I was thinking of Miles Shuler

"OKAYY NOW!! I've been thinking the past days about my future. And I've been stressing about what has happened in the past two days. And I've been listening to music, praying, and have been in deep thought. God put us here for a reason. The vision is not dead. I'm staying home in Jersey. So don't ask me. We just gonna ride. Who's ridin with us?? I know my boys ain't leavin. This just makes the story better. Just sit back and watch the show."

"I want to turn this New Jersey state school into a powerhouse team and help turn the program around. It's about time we do that."- Miles Shuler

I have this weird numbers thing I do in my head, where I count the number of letters in every word I hear, just naturally...it sounds weird. it is weird. i know.

devin fuller
5 letters, 6 letters

miles shuler
5 letters, 6 letters

I haven't see anything to suggest any Rutgers players are looking elsewhere.

Other than Carroo...he's taking an official to UF, I think he and Darius Hamilton commit there.

Unless Rutgers hires a coach, like, this weekend. One that will convince him to stay.

Tim Pernetti, Rutgers' AD, actually made himself an assistant coach so that he can talk to recruits. It's worked wonders, as most of their recruits aren't even taking officials elsewhere.

Some late happenings for Michigan recruiting. 3* DT Willie Henry from Cleveland Glenville took a visit yesterday and was offered a scholly. His offers are a lot of MAC, some Big East and Illinois.

This offer has sure made for some interesting debates among Michigan fans.

It seems the coaches didn't like something about Schutt. On field or off the field I don't know. But that's where the main debate lies.
