I was not kidding.

Red Rums original schedules were post about #1700.

That's what I don't get. It's not a seeding, where the closest is best seed, furthest is worst seed. It's just a W/L for the contestants. I think an explanation would be nice. Thanks!

any chance of football talk....someone start a thread on Waynedale if everyone wishes to continue to ride the coaches jock. I know I have my opinions and thoughts....but this is a WAYNE COUNTY FOOTBALL THREAD.....It would be cool to talk about Wayne County Football.

Just a thought.

LOL I was in your schools gym the other day, I noticed your awesome softball banner. The rest of the banners are naked....just sticking to football....Win 16 more WCAL titles then tell me about what Waynedale "WAS"'. Your 2...is a good start.

a roasted cat pic would be a refreshing change of pace right now....

oh yeah, we ran him off too.

oh well, back to football talk......maybe we could flip the subject back to Smithville for awhile, this Waynedale debate is at swords points.

So......Hillsdale at Smithville (the most interesting WCAL game).......Go!

traveled 4 hundred miles to watch waynedale/smithville game. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! That is easily the worst waynedale team I have ever seen. the head ball coach has issues. He has lost this team, easily lost the confidence of parents and players alike, and most that I have spoken to in the community are of the same opinion. got to see Norwayne champ game and Ice is right. The rest of the league especially Waynedale Smithville Dalton better take notice. there is a changing of the gaurd in football and Norwayne and Hillsdale are leading the way. From what I wittnessed Zuercher or Besancon are the answer.

The other 4 wrestlers that play football. 1- is a heavyweight at 285, 1- is a 220lb 1st year wrestler, 1- is a 182lb RB that hasnt wrestled in 5 years and 1- is wrestling 15 lbs and 2 weight classes higher than last year. Mr Earth...you statement holds no water! :D

I agree to an extent....but alot hinges on personal. EVEN more hinges on COACHING!

I hate seeing the Bears close to the cellar. Hope they right the ship...but I think Norwayne/NWN/Hillsdale are your frontrunners....whodathunkit?

So I have read alot about the coaching at Waynedale....I don't like placing blame on coaches....they put in alot of time and they care about the kids. All of them, even the coach Dennis's of the world. ;)
I will say this, what is the difference now between county schools? Did Hillsdale for example not have talented athletes all those years of terrible football? Did they not have big boys or tough nosed kids or speedsters. I argue that Hillsdale did, each and every year. They had the "talent" to compete, but it wasn't on the team or didn't buy into the program or didn't work hard in the offseason. A change of culture has Hillsdale where it is and it is because of the pee-wee program and the coaching staff. They may not always be in the top tier of the leauge, but a head coach, and his staff, worth a bent nickle will have the kids competative, even if the "talent" isn't there. IMHO
