Paul could guard a few 2 guards, but if you put him on most 2 guards for an entire game theyd abuse him. Hes quick and has quick hands but he doesnt have the size to really match up with most NBA 2 guards. Hes good at getting steals but its not like hes Gary Payton

Sorry... "average" was the word used. Those two aren't average defenders.

LeBron should be an elite defender. Top 2/3 defender in the NBA. No 2 or 3 should be able to score on him. But he is lazy most of the game, unlike say a Ron Artest, Gary Payton, Shane Battier etc, etc. Those guys D you up all game long.

BTW, I think Gordon is a better defender than Paul...if my opinion is worth anything lol.

Lebron is the most versatile defender in the world, that alone makes him elite imo.

Not even close to lazy, you want to see lazy watch Amare or Blake Griffin play. I don't know how many games I watched Blake Griffin not running the floor or getting back on D, I know you watch the Clips so you saw the same thing.

Great players make others better though, he's gotta find that medium between scoring and passing, Deron Williams is the best at this and the best pg in the league imo.

Bron does the same shit. EVERY star in the League does. Even Dwight Howard, who most consider to be the best defender since sliced bread.

Howard isn't a good defender because he fouls a lot. /COA'd /like_that'd /Hb'd

I stopped reading when I saw Mike Millers name and defense listed in the same sentence. Just another stupid formula. smh

Lol +1 let's find some stupid article that supports my view. If lebron is so elite then how come you let Jason terry whose 7 in smaller than you light you up in the nba finals. Point proven

Because, judging by your evaluations of Paul and Lebron, if one part of your game isnt perfect you aren't a good defender.

Also, the fact that you think Lebron and CP3 are "average" makes you the "fucking idiot"

I laughed when I saw that too. But it's actual data. It's not like I created some formula myself to support my argument. It was the first link after a google search. I actually find it to be fairly well done.

But sorry for bringing some statistics to the debate. I'll just stick to, "I'm right. You're wrong".

Lol and the fact that you think theyre great simply because they make the nba defensive team is pretty funny as well. The defensive team is a popularity contest, if it wasnt the 1st team would be full of people like Mbah amoute(sp), Battier, Gerald Wallace, Arron Afflalo ect. But its not because its full of stars who get put on the team because of their name

The formula is crap. Sample sizes are so small. Not surprised your impressed by it though. smh
