Way off here. Everyone is given an equal opportunity to develop. The list is very short for local "above average" wrestlers who never got the chance to wrestle.falcon81;997656 wrote:more time will be spent getting the already great kid in Illinois than the hard work of developing the local kid, ..
Plain and simple, wrestling for Graham is not always fun.

When you have a great local football or basketball team everyone wants on the team and coaches usually have to make cutssaid_aouita;998229 wrote:Way off here. How many schools have your kids attended? Four, or is it just three? Hardly the poster child for someone worried about home-grown talent.

Our family moved once. I don't tolerate drunk coaches, plain and simple, end of story. More coaches and parents need to hold schools accountable..No apologies. In 30 years of coaching I have never been thrown out of a room or broken school ethics rules , Unfortunately I have had a child at a school where coaches have. Any parents or coaches that sits on their hands and tolerates bad illegal behavior like that just for wrestling shouldn't raise kids or coach. Totally different topic than Wrestle offs and no "B" team at that Greatest wrestling Team in the country. Use some common sense next time you make a personal attack or out of context point. We are are fortunate not to have moved to a power house and have an opportunity to help a very humble laid back Amish country public school bring home its 1st ever Team State title. A head coach thats been there 19 years and I have known since he was in HS...Mr. Integrity!!, Not exactly apples to oranges, and it is in MY back yard less than 5 minutes from where I grew up and was raised, so get your facts straight. Home grown and proud to be here!queencitybuckeye;998445 wrote:How many schools have your kids attended? Four, or is it just three? Please excuse the hijack, but this statement is demonstrable inaccurate. Your instruction level at Graham is most certainly defined by your credentials. Anything but elite talent must fight their way past "cannon fodder" status to recieve basic coaching. Ask David Taylor. That's why there is no "B" team. The "list" you cite is longer than you care to acknowledge. As much as it pains me to agree with crazy Dean, he's spot on. Compare Graham to St Ed or Blair with repect to reserves...smoke and mirrors. Is Graham wrestling fun? Nope...it's exclusive...not inclusive.said_aouita;998229 wrote:Way off here.
