I have a Samsung flat screen and my family has a Panasonic. I like the Samsung much more. The Panasonic might not be 1080p though, I'm not sure.

Belly go with the Samsung 55 inch 8000 series. It is one of the best if not the best TV on the market. 1080p 240 HZ. I have one in the living room and I love it. Great for watching sports because it has the 240 HZ compared to the 120 HZ.

A little different don't ya think...when comparing a job vs, a TV. The quality of a TV is completely unimportant vs the quality of a career. I would take longevity/reliability over quality, within reason, every time when it comes to something as unimportant as a TV.

Have to get rid of my present surround sound system and speakers (4ohm) and buy a &#8220;NEW&#8221; Surround Sound up graded to 8ohm that will work with the &#8220;NEW&#8221; DVD system I&#8217;ll have to get so the quality of the older VHS and CD movies on my &#8220;NEW&#8221; 55 Samsung will be of same same quality as viewing cable and be in surround sound.</SPAN>

Yah they do great work. You will be happy with what they do. So what TV did you go with? The 7000 or 8000?

Tiger, you've got to be fucking kidding me. No one has ever been satisfied with Geek Squad. Because even when they do a good job they charge you 234823932 times more than it should be.

You know you could have paid the neighborhood geek 10x less to do the same work right?

I don't really have a problem with their installation services besides the price. So if you're cool with it do what you want.

But from what I've experienced their salesmen are laughably uneducated or car salesmanlike in their attempt to get you to purchase shit you don't need.

Fucker that went to Belly's house probably advised him to get Monster cable as well. Which is beyond retarded.

Or the ones on how they are insanely, insanely overpriced?

Or the ones on the ridiculous bullylike lawsuits of anyone that has "monster" in their business name (a mini golf place for example)?
