Hate Christmas shopping. If I can't buy it online I don't buy it.

We always have one person go straight to the line while everyone else shops and then switch off. The longest I've ever had to wait in a checkout line is ~20 minutes, while the norm is the usual 1-1/2 or whatever.
We went to the Cincinnati Premium Outlets. I got there at 730 to get in line for COACH, so I could buy a $400 purse for my wife for ~$90. The said thing is that I repeat that trend EVERY YEAR
.
This year was pretty good. I figured everything out that I bought and spent $450 but literally saved ~$1,000.
Nothing like rushing through Thanksgiving to shop for 13 hours and have crappy Chinese food from a food court at 5am!

What happens if you gotta poop? Do you lose your place in line?

Read in the Alliance Review this morning that the wait in the checkout at the new Kohl's in Alliance was only 10 minutes. Had I known this, I might have ventured out.

The only thing I've ever thought of being worth that kind of wait was the two days my wife and spend in line for the state first-time home buyers application when we bought our first house. Market rate for mortgages back then was about ten percent - with the program, we got ours at 8.125%.
Never, ever thought I'd be paying less than 5%....

Go in a group and switch off and on when shopping/standing in line.said_aouita;987373 wrote:What happens if you gotta poop? Do you lose your place in line?
I know at Walmart (for their bigger items-tvs and what not), you line up to get the product you want and have a number. While waiting for them to actually release the product, you can request a bathroom pass and keep your place in line, but you HAVE to be back within 15 minutes.

Really? I heard from friends that it was a clusterfuck, but they are lying liars and I was in Canton so what do I know.BR1986FB;987418 wrote:Read in the Alliance Review this morning that the wait in the checkout at the new Kohl's in Alliance was only 10 minutes. I also do 95% of my shopping online. I didn't dare go out on Black Friday. Those people are crazy! I waited for Cyber Monday sales today but was a bit disappointed. I did order a few things from Kohls today and used a Kohls promo code so I saved about $15-$20 bucks. Not bad.
