Holy Mother of Jesus. We waited 1 1/2 for a laptop at WalMart....decided to head 30 miles to Kohl's in Chillicothe. Lulz

We walk in and it's packed. We make our way through the busy store and get all the goods....buy we don't know where the line begins...people are lined all through the store. Finally we see a "line forms here" sign. As we are in this line someone asks the lady, How long? Woman replies 3-4 hours from here.....WHAT? The line did a lap around 2/3 of the large department store and then a full lap around the entire store....virtually a XC meet with clothing. Fortunately our good Lord had a friend tell us that if we fill out for a Kohl's credit card we can checkout at customer service (20 minute wait)....as we were leaving I pass a buddy of mine who was around an hour away it appeared and he had been in line for almost 3 hours.

It was not as insane/scary as WalMart....but 3 times as ridiculous.

Same.

Well, I'll probably go out around 4 or 5 to pick over the scraps. But there won't be any crowds.

I ordered a few things online this morning. I did the cheap laptop at Walmart in 2005, after that I decided I would never do Black Friday again.

Did that last year and it's good, but their prices only lasted until 1:00 this afternoon....we were already up late. We got a shit ton (clothing measuring unit) of stuff for our Secret Santa families at school for $118 and we have $30 in Kohl's cash to spend on anything for the next few weeks.

Saved $100 on a laptop at Wally World....just had to have a positive attitude and stand in line for 90 minutes.

I've never even waited that long in line at Cedar Point!

I highly doubt those people in line saved enough money to justify waiting in like for 3+ hours.

Yeah....so many people with just a couple of items a few dollars off. But the clothing and other items were as cheap as Walmart but with most folks having 15% off of everything, $10 off total purchase and then you get $15 for every $50 spent.....can't really beat it.

It was well worth it. Our line time was about 1-1/2 hrs and bought about 750.00 dollars worth of stuff for around 325.00 plus received 90 dollars in Kohls cash and will also get 50 bucks in rebates back.

The savings are skewed as Kohl's never has anything at "regular" price....but the reductions were even more than usual + 15% discount+ 15 for every 50 Kohl's cash

My wife and I ran to a few places this evening. Went to Eddie Bauer and got 40% off our order without dealing with any crazy people.

Well the answer to any Trivia question in the OC has to be Aaron Harang.
