Who wants to bet that voting for Bush is not an indication of bigotry?
Ever.

Why is it that Christmas or Christ was an ordinary word for a couple thousand of years, but now all of a sudden (the past 5 years) people try not to say it, quote quote "it might offend someone's religion". I didnt know our country just started allowing people from other countries to come over here. There have always been different ethniticities and beliefs and it never hurt peoples feelings before. If you dont like the word Christmas, then quit decorating and buying presents to impress family members. There wouldnt be this joyous time of the year if it wasnt for Christs' birth. And to the one who started this topic, I like some of your points, but other things were pretty stupid.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to every person, race, color, religion on this site.............Im sure that didnt make somone cry, or did it?

This may be the saddest thing I've ever read in my entire life.
1. It's the holiday SEASON... who gives a shit what people choose to say? It's polite of them to say anything at all. I mean, would you rather get a "fuck you" or something? I mean, they wish you a good holiday(s)... who cares?
2. Grown ass men are fighting back and forth calling each other bigots during the same time of year that is being argued over. That time of year where people are supposed to be happy and giving...
3. Voting for George Bush came up...? Why?
P.S. Even I have been accused of being a bigot/racist and I think this is ridiculous. I'll be honest. I'm neither. I do, however, think it's funny to joke about things like that. Mostly because I choose to do so with people that are not offended by such things. Saying things like, "it's only $5, don't be a Jew".
This entire thread is stupid. It's the exact reason that there should be a prerequisite to practice the freedom of speech. Some people are just downright stupid.
Happy Holidays!

Actions are more important than words. The way you treat your fellow man is what matters and is what will be remembered. Think about that.

December 25th is Christmas, so shouldn't every other day b/t Thanksgiving and New Years be "Happy Holidays" and December 25th be "Merry Christmas?"

So, here's what I see, be it hated or not.
1. Ummm.... people can show pictures of the "N" word, but it's ok because it's funny in the way it's used.
2. Bitches and Hoes is acceptable, but it's ok because it's funny and helps to sell music. Oh and it makes other people laugh on message boards.
3. Belly says "raghead" and somehow ties it in with pushing the words "Christmas" and lots of people get their asses up in the air.
4. I'm wondering if it is what Belly said or the fact that it was Belly and hey - everybody loves to wolfpack Belly, right?
5. I don't really care either way because as somebody already stated, it's freedom of speech in a relaxed environment. What is interesting to me is to see just how hypocritical people can be!
Merry Christmas to a bunch of two-faced hypocrits, from this bitch/hoe who has black people in her family.
Creeps.

I don't care if people wish me Happy Holidays. I hope they don't mind that I wish them Merry Christmas.

I was going to respond to this thread because it is just one of those threads that ignites a plethora of emotional and knee jerk reactions. As I read the posts that followed Belly's initial statement, I felt that it was no longer necessary to respond because it seems that I am in concurrence with the vast number of respondees. Therefore, I would only say that I wish to Belly and his family and all other Christians in this country and around the world, a very Merry and Joyous Christmas. I also wish to those who are Jewish, a meaningful and Joyous Hannukkah, and to all others who are neither Christian or Jew, may your celebrations bring fulfillment to you as well. I think that the bottom line is that we are all Americans first. We will either sink or swim in this world together. We will never make it if we insist on remaining in our own little groups, stubbornly denying others the very same freedoms that we expect for ourselves. This is the type of environment that our real enemies from without and within would like to see us develop.

What makes the picture is the man pointing to the missing G. Can you imagine the disappointment the sign maker felt after that?
