when is it the knights play the lady hawks? A little leery about that game...has the potential to be ugly. on the other hand, should the hawks be able to make a respectable showing, and pull out a win (?!) could give them a lot of confidence, which seems they really need right now. Tuesday night is the Battle of Holmes County, girls edition. Wouldn't be surprised if Hiland got the W, but if they do, it will be their last for years to come. Game will be a defensive struggle, and I don't think either team will score more than 40.
(saw the little write up on junior. congrats to him. Do they give bowling schollies??)
Yes they do Doc. Not too many across the nation, but enough that you can chose from. We talked with OSU at the frosh/soph state championships last year, but they are club only at this point, so he'll be looking elsewhere. He's garnering scholly $$$ over they years and has a great little egg started in SMART for his college education.

Stop by Parkview Lanes in a few weeks and we can meet up. The City tournament is hosted there this year, and I will let you know which nights I will be rolling the rock. Bring some of the other Orrville posters too.

Lady Knights wrap up the outright championship tonight with a 58-43 road win against Mansfield Sr. Laina goes for 20/15. Congrats to the OCC champs West Holmes Lady Knights!!

Senior didn't come thru. Well who would of thunk it. I guess we'll have to beat Wooster to be second in the league and fulfill my prediction. LOL . You come to Orrville to Bowl? Do they still serve beer at Parkview? Me and Old Rider may have to come down and run you out of town on a rail. You sound ornery enough it may take two of us.

Flash, you'd know better than I if they do...only been in there one time about 10 years ago to bowl a tournament, and I can't remember if they do. Ornery?? What you talkin' 'bout?

Lady Knights begin the tourny trail with a 53-39 win over Cambridge, who had knocked WH out last year in the tournament. Laina goes for 22/15. Up next is a rematch against Riverview. Knights won a 30-27 contest early in the season again the Bears, but both teams are playing much better ball now!
Also, congrats to Wooster for sweeping the series with Orrville for the first time since the OCC began. Wow!

WH wins a sectional title with a 47-38 win over Riverview. Wooster tops Massillon and Orrville took care of business too. I heard Clear Fork won as well.

2 State Ranked teams left now. I'm expecting a slugfest with Green, and if Wooster is fortunate enough to move on to the District Final...it would certainly take a Herculian effort to win.
