After Ohio State's pitiful performance in their last 3 games and Michigan's dismantling of Nebraska, this game looks to be a likely end of a long, long losing streak to the Buckeyes for the Wolverines.

I think I speak for the majority of Ohio State fans when I say, "Bring Urban now".

Don't expect a strong showing by Ohio State. Down by 10 in the last three weeks only shows that they are ill prepared every week and not ready to take the field, especially from a coaching standpoint. The continue to decline week in and week out since Wiscy.

The OSU players haven't looked like they really care whether they win or lose over the last 3 weeks. They have given up on the inept coaching staff. Michigan wins by 14+.

agreed, but they'll win despite the inept coaching, rallying around the battle cry "winning for us, 'cause us is all that matters"..what will tsun's excuse be then?? ;)

This for sure looks like the best chance M*ch*gan has had to win in a long time. OSU has been so bad I've gone to just cheering that they don't get blown out.

I like your enthusiasm and confidence, but I just can't say that I share it. I'll be rooting hard for the Bucks and hopefully they can surprise a lot of us and win this game.

sorry, but if PSU can run a mildly successful version of the wildcat against OSU there is no way Michigan can't.

If Robinson realizes what he is and sticks with it, UM wins comfortably. If Robinson is out to prove that he is a throwing QB, then I could see OSU winning. However, I'll believe he'll do the former and not the latter. 34-21 UM

I think Luke shows up for the game in a nice suit and porkpie hat and the Buckeyes win one for his finale.

Just remember who was supposed to win in '93, '95, 96, '01, and '04. Sometimes the team who is supposed to win on paper, doesn't always win on the field.

Well I would hope so. If they can't beat this team, they may lose another 8 in a row before getting another chance -- especially if Meyer takes the job.

This is the worst OSU team I've seen in 40 plus years. The offense is pathetic and the defense lacks a consistent back 7 to be effective. They are either too young (mostly) or too slow to make plays.

I would expect it will be a very long day for the OSU defense, since they don't do well against QBs like Robinson. Factor in that the OSU offense has basically no consistent passing threat, and it should be a cake walk for Fred Flintstone and his troops.

A team like Ohio State HAS to take a lead early for any real chance to win -- they simply aren't built to play from behind. The problem is, this coaching staff has been PUTRID in preparing this team, which has struggled out the gate basically in every game, particularly bad vs. Miami, Indiana, Purdue and Penn State.

I honestly don't know how this will shake out, so I will be lame and give two distinct scenarios:

Either:

OSU scores early, is up at the half something like 17-10, runs the ball like crazy and holds on for a 23-20 win.

OR

OSU falls behind early, and Michigan just takes out 7 years of frustrations with a 34-10 win.

If the defense tackles as poorly against Michigan as they have all season (and no reason to believe that they won't) Michigan wins comfortably. However if OSU decides to play one game for the seniors and all the bad crap that this years team has been through, then it could be close. Fickell has nothing to lose, let Miller throw and run, spy Denard with Shazier don't turn the ball over, be agressive on both sides of the ball and OSU just might have a chance. Because I'm a homer and hate the Maize and Blue I'm going to say OSU plays it's one good game all year and wins 28-24.

OSU comes out and scores first. 7-0 (UM defense over compensating/ Over hyped/ Fluke Play)

UM Wins 34-10. Mark it down.

I'll be celebrating in the south end-zone as I did in UM's last win over OSU. Damn it's been a long time.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just hate to say it, but I just can't see any way OSU steals a win this weekend. I've heard some OSU fans say 'well we beat Wisconsin when no one gave us a chance, who says we can't beat Michigan?' Well it's simple, Wisconsin was a more favorable match-up than Michigan will be. Wisconsin, as always, relies on the power running game and that played into the strength of OSU's defense, the defensive line. However, as OSU proved the last 3 weeks, they're very vulnerable in the back 7. Overall, the back 7 lacks the speed, instincts, and tackling fundamentals to be effective in stopping a spread-read type of running game. I see Michigan scoring often early on and leaving OSU's anemic offense in a hole that's impossible to climb out of. I see a 17 point win by Michigan, unfortunately.

Losing to Michigan is never a good thing. But Michigan is due for a win and if there was ever a year for it to happen, I'd rather it be this year. This season has been absolutely craptastic so what's another disappointing loss? Plus there's nothing on the line besides pride and gold pants. I will say that Michigan better take advantage of the opportunity because it won't get any easier than this, especially if OSU gets a competent coaching staff going into next year.
