Should be an exciting game at New Philadelphia's stadium! Johnstown-Monroe is a big team that loves to run. Norwayne is a more well-rounded offense. Both teams are explosive and have proven their worth already with some big wins.

Good luck Norwayne!

Johnstown-Monroe

Offense 46.6

Defense 18.0

Norwaynes

Offense 44.5

Def 11.6

High octane offenses and solid defenses!! Looks to be a stellar game!!!! I do think that Johnstown is more 1 dimensional, while Norwayne has more balance.

I'll let Pitman break that aspect down....he is more thorough ;)

I dout Johnstown will be able to stop Norwaynes offense. The question is will Norwayne be able to stop Johnstowns running game that has 2 kids with dang near 5000 yards on the ground and 60 TD's between them. They Ave 55-60 yards in the air and 400+ per game on the ground.....wow....GO CATS. Keep playing with the Heart, Passion, Desire and Determination that you have been and anything is possible. Norwayne has made a lot of parents and fans proud. Should be a great game.

Johnstown is very excited and proud going in this game
Still don't know how the game setup seeing you guys got Home field advantage see you are right down the road should have been between both teams Mansfield or Ashland

New Philadelphia is not right down the road from Norwayne. It is at least an hour away.

Why are you complaining where they are playing.....more importantly it's week 14 and both schools are playing. It shouldn't matter where you play the game.

Mansfield was going to get the D1 onSat., and Ashland has poor visitor seating and is not a good site for playoffs because of that and now that Arlin is turf they will get lots of games there.

Someone needs to look at a map... New Philly may be A little closer for Norwayne but it's a haul for both schools.

While Mansfield or Ashland may be between the two, that would have truly given Norwayne a much shorter drive.

Per Google Map directions:

Norwayne to New Philly is 48-55 minutes depending on what route you take.
Johnstown to New Philly is 85 minutes.....

When you look at the map, their really isn't a good in between site.....Mansfield and Ashland are definately closer to Creston and any Columbus area school is closer to Johnstown. Just be happy you are playing in this game.

Norwayne would travel to Cincinnati to play this game if they had too. It would not matter to us. GO CATS

That's the attitude and excitment you need in these types of games! If you win, it makes the ride home sweet....if you lose that ride is very long! (See Genoa 2009 ;))

When you get into the playoffs, you can expect some games will be real road trips and rarely do you get a setup like Delphos St. John's and Marion Local in D6 who are in the same league and play for a trip to the finals and only travel about 30 miles :)
