Regardless of what any of us say on here....this has all the makings of a dandy.

I do think the New Philadelphia location is kind of a joke. But I guess if there are no other options.

Let's get it on.

All I am saying, is that these boys have a lot at stake, not just the states, but it goes beyound that.. 2 words COACH CARTER if you look at our record, we cant be stopped looks like you guys are pretty close to us, it should be an amazing game. May the best team win. These boys have so much heart in this game, and we have the best fans out there! i guess we will see how it plays out on Sat! good luck to all
Let me clarify: 98% of the fans posting on here are not affiliated with Norwayne...simply neighboring schools and/or League members that are supporting Norwayne...Myself included.

I have been to Johnstown...and these 2 small towns mirror each other! Should be a good night of ball....but with those bruiser backs you guys have....Norwayne may be in trouble, they are beat up. I cant wait...hope its a slobberknocker!

The Bobcats really are undersized. Small, slow unathletic.....usually outmatched.
Especially #45, just stick out an arm, the kid goes down like a ton of bricks......

Agree I just hope they have room for are band
In Wayne County we spell it 'our'.... Not sure why you posted a Doylestown map( Doylestown does have a good marching band but a terrible football team)....but Norwayne is about 20 minutes further away. I suspect the 'Cats could make it down to New Philly in about 85-90 minutes by bus.

#41 & 42
I saw on the roster they are a way smaller team than us Norwayne is probably quick I see they like to run the screen, defense I heard is kinda slow ,they turnover the ball some I'm sure this will be a good game Norwayne didnt
Make it here on luck they probably deserve as much as we do
Hopefully Johnstown doesn't get any penalties and injuries
Go Johnnies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming from an Indian Valley guy, who traveled to Johnstown in round 1 of the playoffs, it's NOT that bad of a drive, at all. IV borders New Phila. I'm only 6 miles from Quaker Stadium.

Ha ha... Norwayne defense slow.. I think I peed.... And they can run just as good as they can pass johnnie boy. They may be small but they will push your big boys around for 4 quarters! Ask any school they have played with a big line!

I didn't read anywhere that said Norwayne was slow?!? Good luck to the Bobcats! Johnstown is looking forward to another great game from a worthy opponent. Everyone knows you don't get this far unless you are meant to be here! Fans just have a biased opinion for their own team and are looking for any kind of reassurance that one team can beat the other on forums! Let the fans be fans and enjoy a great game played mind you by young men! Go Johnnies!

Wow, Sounds like we don't even belong on the same field with the "jonnies." I think we'll still suit up & get after it...,if that's ok. *Idea! Call Girard 2c exactly how small, slow & un-athletic we really are. Most players will be rehabbing so ask for a coach. Also, any1 who has ever just "stuck his arm out" at Wallace(6-2,210)might say different. QB & Middle LB. Loves to hit. Always looks like he's running downhill. You're right though. I was just spouting off. We really don't stand a chance against the jonnies. We all know that. We're just a bunch of hicks supportin' our slow, little team so, please take it easy on them. We don't want more of our kids hurt. We got lucky just to get here. Thanks.

ps,**Update. -Cats say they "Refuse to lose." Uh-oh.....I guess it's ON. Sorry.

oldcatQB I think it's your own fans being sarcastic about the ability or lack thereof of your own team. I love it when fans play the underdog role or the overlooked role. The coaches and Johnstown take every game with the same approach. I am sure they will respect your team on and off the field! Best of luck!
