When I go for the Dover/Phila games, which I assume this will have a similar crowd, I have parked near Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School, which is not visible on this map, but is approximately a block east of Broadway St.

Not sure if it is always the case, but last Saturday I drove by the base of the Wabash hill (other side of the stadium) and they had signs up that it was closed to through traffic for the game that night. For those coming from Wayne County, you could come in the back way to avoid some traffic by coming over 7 mile drive(would need to go through Parral and Dover instead of jumping on to I-77/250 at Strasburg.

I cant see how this venue will hold the crowd! I was not at the game last week...but at D-I Medina's Ken Dukes Stadium...it was overflowing it appeared.

The Brookfield football team will literally be laying it on the line in its Div. IV, Region 13 quarterfinal playoff game against Norwayne at Cloverleaf's Gene Clark Stadium Saturday night.

With a mammoth offensive line that averages about 280 pounds from tackle to tackle, the sixth-seeded Warriors (9-1) hope to control the line of scrimmage, and ultimately, the game against the third-seeded Bobcats (9-1).

"We both have similar style spread offenses, but we are more of a power offense that likes to run it between the tackles," said seventh-year Brookfield coach Randy Clark, who has the Warriors in the playoffs for the first time in 17 years. "We have had pretty good success running the ball and have a pretty big offensive line to run behind. They average about 280 pounds per guy, and that's including a 185-pounder, so how our line executes on both sides of the ball will be a big key."..Cats win, 42-7......,Next!

Seriously though...,Both teams are here for the 1st time & both have tons of backing from their entire areas. Cudos to both for great seasons. I can't wait to see it.

I was there. Girards side held@12k & was almost filled. Our side was 1/2 the size & overflowing. Concessions were not prepared to fuel the crowd.:thumbdown: Out of hot cheese for dogs & nachos b4 halftime. They were frantic.:laugh:

no worries ......Miyagi just got these in today and will start getting them ready for Saturday....no cheese needed.....very healthy, grass fed, and stuffed with macadamia nuts for all you Paleo eaters out there..........

Absolutely. I really like the np stadium. Neat old field. Parking is rough though. I always park at Tcc when I go to a game there.

Excellent assessment. Except N-wayne has come from behind to win in 3 of their last 4 games. I can't tell if it's gonna be a barnburner or all defense? Girard forced 3 t-overs. Ringz, Beast, RedRider1, etc... Are any of you going to the Norwayne game Saturday? I'm trying to figure out what my plans will be. I'd be making a long drive from Conneaut to wherever I go Saturday... want to make it worth it if I drive to New Philidelphia. If you'll be there, I can bring my tailgating supplies leftover from the Norwayne/Orrville game. Plenty of burgers and brats. Let me know as soon as you guys know so I can make plans with the woman.
