Knights go on the road and beat Orrville in 2OT 61-53! Great win for this young group of Knights, going up against the 6'10" Winters in the middle.

Both teams shot poorly in the 30% range. Arnold had 23 and Winters had 16 and 12 rebounds. Gabe Snyder played well with a double. We were better than I thought and Wh was worse than I thought they'd be. Stop Arnold and you win. Easier said than done.

It's so tough the way he gets put on the foul line. That's actually encouraging for Orrville though, IDK if anybody expected that score this early in the season. Maybe I am wrong.

Coach L said that Snyder was a "monster" in the second half.

If Gabe could find that switch to flip in all his sports, he'd be unstoppable. That was just a glimpse of what he can do. Knights did not play well, however to go on the road to Orrville and come away with a victory is all that was needed. Orrville is not very good, and the Knights played down to their level a bit.

How is Arnold doing? Was it only a concussion?

Mr. 300 Orrville is not good right now but West Holmes is not that great either and if Arnold is down for a while you guys may be in trouble.

I don't disagree either. Thought WH would be better in the paint, but I was wrong. They've been extremely puzzling to this point in the season.Coach_08;1023518 wrote:Mr. 300 Orrville is not good right now but West Holmes is not that great either and if Arnold is down for a while you guys may be in trouble.

Yea I was surprised that WH lost to Wooster, I was expecting WH towards the top of the OCC this year, but a long way to go.

Knights dominate Wooster in a 70-49 victory.

Sounds like Wooster tried to key on Brady and paid for it as the rest of theteam stepped up. Good for them.

Nice win by WH last night. Wooster has been so inconsistent all season. One night they look like the Harlem Globetrotters, the next night they play like the Washington Generals.

Consistency is that elusive thing that all HS coaches are seeking to have. Hiland has been remarkably consistent for a bunch of teenagers. No lapses of focus or intensity that have cost them a game. Those teams are very, very rare. The Hawks played a game last night where TCC tried to stall the ball, take quality shots, and try to win a 30-28 game. There was some frustration, but they eventually turned them over, got a big lead and brought them out of the stall ball. WH has some more building to do before they can get to that point. Can't wait to see how good Arnold is when he is a little more seasoned.

And had to go OT to get the one , so it's really not playing down to their level, although the LOSS did wake WH up for the next 3 wins
