This humors me.

And you can scratch next year off for OSU winning a title if Meyer takes the job. Stress level will be too high for him to last more than 3-4 years.

This is one of the dumbest things I've seen posted here in awhile. OSU is loaded w/ young talent, and their recruiting is not hurting at all. In fact, their expected to add two big time recruits next week in Washington and Stanford. Stick to the SEC, because you obviously know nothing about OSU.

OSU is 23rd in recruiting this year, last year you got more 3 stars than 4 stars, 2010 you guys were #25 in recruiting. This hasnt been the best years in recruiting for you

I couldn't careless how man stars a recruit has, you can see the talent, it just needs to be refined. OSU is going to be fine, much to your dismay. Also, don't act like the rankings aren't skewed based on the fact that oversigning plays a big part in recruiting "rankings".

OSU is one of those schools that finds success in players that have paper rankings in the lower stars. I'm not worried, we'll continue to win both on and off the field; something no school in the SEC outside of Florida and Vanderbilt can do no matter how highly they are ranked on paper in football.

When Meyer's announced as OSU's coach, it's going to make a lot of people nervous, not only in the B1G, but in every other conference as well ;)

The more you rail against the hire the more I'm convinced you're skeerd. Just accept the fact that the SEC is nothing more than a stepping stone and move along cheering for a bunch of mouth breathing, knuckle draggers that is the SEC

Also, you conveniently leave out that OSU was #11 in recruiting rankings last year.

LOL...we're full of freshman and sophomore's, and are starting a true freshman at QB. I'm sure you just say the things you do to get everyone riled up, because you couln't possibly think it makes sense.

Was unaware they played a true freshman QB. Playing and depending are different. LSU plays them, OSU is forced to depen on them. You're better than this man, c'mon.

lol i actually just looked at the depth chart and according to that there are 8 freshman/soph starting on offense and defense combined. Most of the important positions such as LB, QB, and WR are full of sr and jrs so yea tons of underclassmen.........tons

I honestly do not know how much young talent OSU has. I know they are set at QB and RB. They are going to need to replace 3 guys on the offensive line next year and we haven't seen great things from the WR's. The DLine and secondary look good for the future. We need improved LB play.

So, worst case scenario, Meyer struggles to find 2 LB(Shazier is a fresh and will be a stud for the next 3 yrs) and 3 OL. I don't think that will be an issue.

Plus, the sooner he's announced coach, the sooner he can start recruiting.

he's already accepted (in theory) the job, so Spielman's not hurting anything...trust me, Urban Meyer is the next head coach at THE OSU

40 percent underclassemen starting and a bunch playing throughout the game isnt alot of frosh and sophs playing? OK, sure.

Spielman gets way too much credit for having insight into what Meyer is thinking. I wouldn't be shocked if Meyer accepts the job at some point with Spielman not even knowing they were talking.

I think Linsley, Bobek, and Hall will step in on the OL, depth will be an issue though. I wouldn't put it past Boren to come in and fight for a starting spot. That's just what the Boren's do. LB doesn't look great, though we don't know what we have w/ C. Grant and Crowell.

The fact that those are the only few questions tells me OSU is ready to compete for a national championship very soon, assuming Miller continues to improve.
