I have to disagree with you. Before all this came out, I was a fan of his. I really liked the energy and passion he brought to the job. He wasn't like some of the young coaches that have come through the area who were somewhat clueless and in over their heads. He obviously connected well with his players and they bought into his system and it resulted in two of the best seasons the school has ever had.

With that being said, when this story first was getting spread around, my first thought was, "yeah I can totally see that". But as bad as it looks, I think its important not to jump to conclussions and wait till he has his day in court.

One day, he changed their uniforms without letting the administration know.
One time, he had his team jump a fence to practice on a field they were NOT aloud to practice on. One of their better players hurt his leg in the process.
He was also a girl's basketball coach, and has been accused of recruiting and giving players performance enhancing drugs in the past.

He be a decent coach, but he connects so well with his players, because he acts like a kid, just like them.

When Southern Local scrimmaged at Indian Creek this past year, he was wearing a jersey like one of the players. He was jumping around and high fiving everyone. You couldn't tell who was the coach and who were the players! I even saw him standing in a 3 point stance and letting one of his players smack him across the face a few times!

This.

"Jersey Shore Mike", as I like to refer to him, typically wears shorts with cutoff sleeves in freezing weather hopping around like a lunatic with his Chris Jericho ponytail. I heard he put some kind of preseason "voodoo curse" on one of the other teams in the conference on TV.

These are just the "positive" things I've heard about him. Won't get into the bad stuff. These allegations don't shock me whether true or false. I will say one thing, he DOES motivate those kids and has turned their program around but he's still a clown.

Who knows... But this guy should STILL be fired for not even knowing what division his football team is in.

Reporter: "Coach Michaels, eh I mean Skrinjar, how do you feel about moving up into Division 5 this year?"

Skrinjar: "Uhhh, Which way to the weight room dude?"

LOL
