He wasn't like some of the young coaches that have come through the area who were somewhat clueless and in over their heads. He obviously connected well with his players and they bought into his system and it resulted in two of the best seasons the school has ever had.
With that being said, when this story first was getting spread around, my first thought was, "yeah I can totally see that". But as bad as it looks, I think its important not to jump to conclussions and wait till he has his day in court.
One day, he changed their uniforms without letting the administration know.
One time, he had his team jump a fence to practice on a field they were NOT aloud to practice on. One of their better players hurt his leg in the process.
He was also a girl's basketball coach, and has been accused of recruiting and giving players performance enhancing drugs in the past.
He be a decent coach, but he connects so well with his players, because he acts like a kid, just like them.
