I will not buy into the Texans hoopla until they reach the Super Bowl. They will be the Chargers of this year's playoffs.

They're a potent team but as a No. 1 seed they'd be vulnerable because they haven't been in that position before or even in the playoffs before.

Could be like Atlanta last year.

(6) Cincinnati at (3) New England...Patriots win
(5) Baltimore at (4) Oakland...Ravens win

AFC Divisional Playoffs
(3) New England at (2) Pittsburgh...Patriots win...it would be tough for the Steelers to beat the Pats a second time I think
(5) Baltimore at (1) Houston...I say Baltimore would go in and beat the Texans...they've won some road playoff games the past few years

AFC Championship
(5) Baltimore at (3) New England...not sure, probably Baltimore just because it's their time


NFC Wild Card
(6) Chicago at (3) New Orleans...Tough call. Bears are looking good but because it's in New Orleans I'll go with the Saints.
(5) Detroit at (4) New York Giants...Giants win...I wasn't a Lions believer even before today

put the Jets in there as the No. 3 seed and I think the Steelers beat the Jets in the divisional round at home

then Steelers vs. Ravens in AFC Championship...Steelers get em this time!

The AFC is so weak this year....

No the 49ers will be the Atlanta of last year. I agree they will get a bye because of their schedule and division they are in. But they will be one of the worst teams to get a bye in NFL playoff history.

yeah, there is always that "any given sunday" thing, but realistically...if you go on pure talent...it would be Bmore vs Green Bay and GB repeating handily.

Steelers played the Packers tough last year.

If Mendenhall doesn't fumble it might've been a different story.

Steelers are pretty much the same team. I think the game would be similar, high scoring, and the Steelers would have a chance to pull it out.

Steelers haven't had a healthy Harrison and Woodley together all season.

You're talking about two Pro Bowl linebackers. Two of their big guns that create sacks, turnovers, etc.

Plus the WRs haven't all been healthy at the same time either. Wallace, Brown, Sanders, Cotchery, Ward, Miller is a deep group if they can get on the field at the same time.

I don't think Green Bay pounds Baltimore if they meet in the Super Bowl. I know the Ravens have 3 excusable losses but they play big against the big teams and play down with the bad teams. I'm not saying Baltimore beats the Packers but they wouldn't get pounded. I will stick to that belief until it's proven other wise.

eh, I disagree. I would take Green Bay by 10 over Bmore, 13 over Houston and 14 over the Steelers. I would also take Green Bay by 50 over the Browns and 75 over the Colts.

A lot of football left but as of right now, things look pretty good for all three of the AFC North teams to make the playoffs.

The 5th, 6th, and 7th seed in the AFC probably comes down to the Ravens, Jets, and Bengals. 10-6 very well may get left out of the playoffs this year.
