This is an honest quest, so please don't take it any other way. Why do male pedophiles primarily attack boys. I thought it was because they were homosexual, but I've learned that this is usually not the case. Perhaps it seems disproportionate in no small part because parents are more protective of their little girls? Many more opportunities for a pedophile to gain trust and alone time as a coach, teacher or priest...cub scout leader or whatever. The hetero pedophiles mostly have to snatch a little girl, which is obviously much riskier and tougher to do.

Why isnthis "ignorant"? It's an honest question. The Sandusky case made me think abut the Catholic church scandel. The cases of pedophile priests were almost always with boys as victims. So I was just curious. The link I posted may be from a conservative news source, but there are some facts cited that I haven't seen anyone refute. Maybe your questions are legitimate as well, but I haven't looked into it. Again, I think it goes back to if you're a homosexual pedophile, then there's a draw to youth coaching, the priesthood or cub scout leader.
