Exactly, the problem isn't with the school or the team. It's with the obnoxious fans that give the school and the team a bad rap. The "if you aren't for Big Red, then you ain't sh$t" mentality of these fans that make me root for them to lose. I know a few Big Red alumni that are actually glad they lost, just to shut the mouths of these type of fans! I'm not sure what part of the state you guys are from, but try living near that type of fan and you'll understand why a lot of us are glad they lost. Hats off the their team and coaches for another great year. As far as the obnoxious fans, think of some other reasons why your team lost. Here's a radical idea, congratulate Mooney for a great game and wish them well.

They only play football and baseball at that school.

Forget it dude, West Holmes is, other than being an Amish Community, known for girls basketball.

I believe the West Holmes Girl's Basketball program has several state titles won on the court.

Lulz at Princess. Your jealousy is understandable of schools who actually have won state titles in the field of competition, regardless of sport.

Yeah, the fact that a bunch of huge Amish girls with hairy armpits won a couple of state titles in freakin GIRLS BASKETBALL....years ago, keeps me up nights.

I was on a jobsite at a hospital in Steubenville today and a janitor couldn't believe I had the nerve to wear my Dover shirt today. Lol why? We're still playing and its a nice shirt.

The Upper Ohio Valley high school riots had one common denominator. Big Red fans! The people of Steubenville pride themselves on being rude, crude, & vulgar. A few years back, about a dozen Steubies were arrested at an American Legion game in Indiana for starting fights.
Ever been to Steubenville? You'll know why football is the ONLY thing to cheer for. go to www.citydata.com and read comments from people around America who had visited the " Slum city ". You can also put your own zip code in too see what people think about your own town.

Like Steubenville football...and tradition....HATE THE FANS...They are an embarassment to HS sports. I represent a DV school and have no ties to Steubenville. My account of the fans are from message boards and 1st hand witnessing at games i have attended.

Again..i reitterate, I do support Steubenville from afar....however, your fans...(the majority not the whole) are your programs black eye.


EDIT: Just for your satisfaction...no my school of choice has not won a State Championship.....
