I do think Tiger was definitely hurt in the process. He lost big bucks. He got some back. He fell from grace, no doubt.
On the flip side, JoePa and Penn State are going down -- there are many parties responsible for this mess. Unfortunately, a lot of it will all be given to JoePa and he isn't solely responsible. JoePa had a legacy for 40 years. Tiger's doesn't compare to that. His name may internationally, but JoePa's is "football" and it is America -- that may be enough to hurt him the most.
And like thedynasty said, one situation is a horny young golfer and the other is years of a cover-up of arguably the most heinous act ever. While I don't excuse Tiger, his situation happens WAY more than JoePa's situation.
