I admit, I am not a football strategist, but rather simply a fan. Our defense usually gives up its biggest plays on quick slants and screens. At some point, wouldn't Bollman go "You know, that sh-t works! Let me try that, rather than a 5 step drop and letting below average receivers get open (after 2 runs of course)."

There is big drop-off in talent at the WR position this year. It had gotten progressively worse every year under Tress. There used to be multiple NFL guys at the WR position here. Now we have Posey and that's it. And he hasn't played this year. The next regime needs to improve on this area of the team.
