Every week I hope we can air the ball out a little more.

Will this be it? I doubt it.

We had one week to experiment and that was last week. It didn't turn out so well. If we get ahead big in the first half, I woulnd't mind coming out throwing in the first couple series in the 3rd quarter. Otherwise feed boom and hyde if our Oline is opening holes like they did vs Indiana. If not then set up draw plays with draw plays.

Do what you do best (run) and try to throw in some passing. Where the heck is that screen pass across the field that was used to score against Nebraska? We haven't seen it since. I guess because it worked.

That has nothing to do with this game or college football since now in the NFL...

Rumor on BP that the NCAA ruling could come in the next couple of days. There is a thread on the scout forums but I don't have a subscription.

In the rumor du jour thread in the rumor forum. Merih posted it.
The scuttlebut around the program is that the NCAA charges are going to come down in the next day or two.
I hope he meant penalties instead of charges... he has not clairified yet.

I'm relatively new there. I'm assuming you have to have some type of status to find the rumor forum? I can't locate it.

Every time Penn State or JoePa is mentioned during the telecast of this game, chug a beer...and don't plan on driving anywhere afterwards

5 scholarships taken away over 3 years. Self imposed. Most likely 2-2-1.

That's awesome. Hopefully they do the "1, 2, 3, 4 First Down" once and tell the defense they don't ever want to hear it again. I went to the 04 game and am going Saturday, so hopefully this year is a little better than that year.

Purdue is a cool place to watch a game. The turf manager at purdue is Brian Bornino, a 2000 graduate of Fairfield union high school. Though he may soon leaving to take over at Norte Dame

Winds are forecast at being up to 40 mph during the game. I don't think there will be too much passing by either team -- at least not much down field. And field position is going to play a bigger role, in all likelihood, because the wind will play havoc with the kicking game.

If this chick is at the game, I might have to make the drive up to West Lafayette.

I hope the high winds keep up to help slow down the PU passing. Bucks 24-20.
