I don't care for BK at all.
Give me some Carl's Jr.

I guess I just don't get around much. I tried a McDonald's Double quite a while back and really liked it so I never really tried any of the other offerings out there. Of course I've been watching weight, biking, and all that other boring stuff, so perhaps an occasional BK or Carl's, or Wendy's would be ok if I kept on doing the boring stuff along with it.

I like them--but overall I would just like to have a single chesseburgher with pickles only from Wendy's anytime.

They are but they're going to lose in all probability. We talked about it in the contracts portion of my business law class and unless the franchise agreements have somehow changed there's a clause that lets BK corporate set the prices for promotional offerings.

If the franchisees had a problem with it they shouldn't have signed the contract.
The only problem here is that the franchise owners have no bargaining power. If they say they don't like a clause, the BK Corp. people will say, "Tough crap," and they will wait for the next person that wants to own a franchise. It has been a while since I took my contracts class, and I'm just now learning corporate law (mainly close corps though), so I may be wrong. However, I think the franchises could make a strong argument.
