So much for being even close to the OSU/Mich game of 2006. That game was boring, I don't care what conference you think is best. I wouldn't even put that in the top 1000 games of the past decade much less the game of the century.

This. Hopefully we can put this "lets see them play again in the national championship game" stuff behind us. Bama loses, can't score more than 6 at home, and at night? No thanks on the rematch.

Agreed game was boring as hell. LSU will still win the national championship by 10 though.

I love defensive games but this contest was a turd...can't believe I wasted 3 hours watching such pitiful offense.

How long before the "teams deserve a rematch because it was a close game" talk begins?

It won't. No one would watch a rematch of that game. It would be a ratings disaster... so the media talking heads won't push for it.

It already did but face it, that game will never happen because it was a snooze fest and there is no way the "money" will want to relive that crap.

That was not an enjoyable game to watch. Some good hits and moments but overall it was a snoozer.

I'm in the minority, but I loved it. Why would anyone have thought this game would be any different?

But for the skeptics of these two teams, it's hard to ignore the WVU game. WVU marched up and down the field against them.

I'd love to see LSU vs. Oklahoma State or Stanford. Do not want a rematch.

Maybe Bama needed to over sign a kicker.

Not above an undefeated Stanford and an undefeated Oklahoma State. Boise will also be ahead of them, book it.

I actually agree. I enjoyed it. How could someone expect it would be different. I watched to see some of the best defensive players in the country never thought there would be many points scored.

The O/U was 42. They scored 15.

That's not great defense, that's bad offense. And really outside of Matheiu, can you name any other LSU defensive player without looking it up? Or any player on Alabama besides the CB Kirtspatrikc or whatever? No you can't.

Mo Claiborne Brandon Taylor Eric Reid Anthony Johnson Sam Montgomery, Donta Hightower Courtney Upshaw Mark Barron- Lots future high end picks picks. Just because you don't know who people are doesn't mean I don't

You think I give a shit about the over under? If there were that many points scored you would have posted a thread consisting of-
SEC Defense- LOL the top defenses give up 42 points LOL They suck LOL OSU would beat them by infinity LOL Book it!

I guess it only takes a half an hour to look up names of the players.

And I'm just pointing out the very favorable media treatment the SEC gets over the B1G. If this game happened in the B1G we'd never hear the end of how terrible the offenses are. Sorry, but I'm not buying any of these teams winning anything relevant this year.

While I agree that both teams have great defenses (minus the multiple blown coverages by each team), what sleeper is saying is true. The Big 10 would be taking so much shit if a #1 vs #2 failed to score a touchdown, field goal kickers were terrible, and only put up 15 points combined.

Sorry I don't sit here and respond instantly to every post like you. Just because you don't know who they are doesn't mean I don't.

Also, I completely agree the with the second part about the favorable treatment. That is exactly what we would be hearing if the game would have featured B1G teams. But those are two very talented defenses and that's why I watched this game.

Ridiculous. It's a good thing Stanford is going undefeated so we won't have to watch 2 boring slow teams run away and kick field goals.

They have basically said Boise has zero chance of ever ending up in front of a 1 loss Alabama team. The computers love Alabama, and Boise's schedule is just killing them.

I like defensive football, but agreed this was boring as hell, almost unwatchable boring. I even watched Notre Dame and Wake for a quarter or so hoping for a little action. The defenses are great no arguement, but the QB play was awful (as expected). I'm with the majority in that I do not want to see this again in the NC. This was not the game of the century, game of the season, or even the game of the day as far as watching enjoyment. Unless you are a Bama or LSU fan you would not have enjoyed this game, (which Bama should have won easily) I would like to see Boise get a chance but I agree that will not happen this season.
