He does have a tattoo of a gun on his forearm. Of course, it's in honor of his mom.ZWICK 4 PREZ;961913 wrote:Thuggish Ruggish Shooter
I thought the other tattoo was to honor his mom, the "Jessi Colter" logo that's on the inside of his right forearm right below the elbow joint.justincredible;961977 wrote:He does have a tattoo of a gun on his forearm. Of course, it's in honor of his mom.
That is correct, I misspoke. I thought the gun had Jessi "engraved" on it.OSH;962014 wrote:I thought the other tattoo was to honor his mom, the "Jessi Colter" logo that's on the inside of his right forearm right below the elbow joint.
The gun tattoo was a gift from his girl Drea.

Also, it's clear from the video who he's calling out. There are blurred out billboards featuring Blake Sheltons Honeybee and Jason Aldeans Dirt Road Anthem, tho their names are never shown. As Shooter moves further and further past those signs are partially unblurred and another sign appears that simply says "THIS" with the aforementioned signs directly in the background.
Also, and mabye its nothing, but notice Shooter walking in front of the record studios. It's a one-way street and Shooter's going the wrong way. That could be intentional especially since I read shooter inserted some artists from his XXX movement into the video mulling around the street outside of the studios. Im not sure who's who however.

Black Ribbons, his last album which was released in March of 2010. Also, it was a rock concept album, not country. I love it but it was a major step away from his roots.Steel Valley Football;962690 wrote:I've always liked this song, tho I'm not crazy about the other one you posted - what album is that from?

How do you imbed a video? I want to post one other guy. I did a search and haven't seen him talked about here much; maybe once.
While I hate it that Shooter is jabbing at Jason Aldean..."Dirt Road Anthem" is a song from Brantley Gilbert AND Colt Ford. Brantley Gilbert is a Georgian country guy, like Aldean. I actually heard an interview from Brantley who appreciates Aldean wanting to record some of Brantley's written songs because it's an honor to a guy like Brantley.Steel Valley Football;962690 wrote:I've always liked this song, tho I'm not crazy about the other one you posted - what album is that from?
More evidence that he's alluding, in part, to Jason Aldean, are the lyrics "it's a dirt road free for all" and "sing another man's song with a big drum loop". The latter most likely referring to Dirt Road Anthem being a Colt Ford song originally.
