Perhaps this is why Diggs is back in the picture?!imex99;1063571 wrote:Roger Lewis grades not good enough, will be going the Prep route and hopefully back to OSU if all goes as planned... Per Scout

No. This Roger Lewis thing is not new. The coaches new about it long ago. We are just now finding out. It is not "freeing up a spot" because the coaches have known for a while that he would have to go this route.Scarlet_Buckeye;1063754 wrote:Perhaps this is why Diggs is back in the picture?!

There are a lot of guys committing later that doesn't make them like any of those guys. OSU didn't start recruiting some of these guys til Meyer was hired which is close to the end of recruiting so it only makes sense some of them would take more time to decide. That alone doesn't make someone a headcase.Scarlet_Buckeye;1063751 wrote:Have you followed his recruitment? #TerrellePryor #SeantrelHenderson #BryceBrown

I'm not referring to "committing later." I'm referring to his drama-filled recruitment. It's been totally helter-skelter. The boy definitely seems to have some head issues. I'm not saying I wouldn't take him; I'm just saying we need to be extra careful with this one.xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1063759 wrote:There are a lot of guys committing later that doesn't make them like any of those guys.

Is this kid any good? I gotta imagine, with Spielman's love for tOSU, there's no way this kid goes anywhere but Ohio State (assuming that he qualifies & the Buckeyes offer him).imex99;1063867 wrote:Baby Spielman http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view-profile.html?task=userProfile&user=10013&srid=9939

Only a sophomore, either needs to get bigger(to play d line) or faster( to play backer)

15 lbs and he would probably make a great LEO.bases_loaded;1063900 wrote:Only a sophomore, either needs to get bigger(to play d line) or faster( to play backer)
2 years to gain 15 lbs and maybe a step or 2 on his 40 time and I could see OSU offering him a scholly to play rush end.

The video really doesn't show much. At least a couple of plays he was just unblocked (no one attempted to pick him up). One play he did just dominate his blocker and push him back to the runner, but the O-lineman didn't look particularly impressive.bases_loaded;1063900 wrote:Only a sophomore, either needs to get bigger(to play d line) or faster( to play backer)
He's a long ways out so will wait to get some more video of him before judging one way or another.

With his genes, along with his size right now as a 15/16 year old kid, I'd say there's no doubt he's on OSU's radar.

Sounds like Urban's in-home with Reeves went very well last night. Withers and Vrabel were there for OSU as well.
The key point, imo, is that Cam Williams and his dad were also present for the visit. Williams' father said the visit gave Ms. Reeves great comfort. Next up, Mattison, who cannot be underestimated.

"@BlackShoeSports: Sources are saying Armani Reeves will commit to Michigan. Meyer was late for his vist and Reeves came away unimpressed"
I'm guessing this is his complete opposite. The penn state guy with 42 followers on twitter.
My guess is this guy thought Meyer was late because he didn't make it to reeves' bball practice, he wasn't late, the practice ended early. Whithers took in the full practice then met Meyer, fickell and vrabel at reeves' house.

I normally post under Tobias, but I cleared my temporary files and my passwords were in it. I don't remember the one for Tobias, which is odd because I only use 5-6 different ones and I tried them all for it. I did the password reset, but it didn't work--or I'm an idiot. Probably both.Pick6;1064062 wrote:why do you post under 2 names?
At some point I may ask Justin to inform me what my password for Tobias is. Maybe. Maybe not.

Seen him play multiple times. He is an avg. high school player at best IMO. I can't see him being more than that. Big time college? HIghly doubtful. Maybe a walk-on.imex99;1063867 wrote:Baby Spielman http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view-profile.html?task=userProfile&user=10013&srid=9939

From 11warriors thread:
Rumors began to swirl over the internet
on Monday night that Meyer had been
late for the visit and that things may have
been heading south with Ohio State and
Reeves but those rumors were quickly
shot down.
"Totally (false)," said Williams of the
rumors. "Coach (Everett) Withers arrived
early in the day and met with our head
coach and watched Armani's basketball
practice, which was the plan."
"Coach Meyer, (Mike) Vrabel, and (Luke)
Fickell flew in later to watch the end of
practice and then we all met for about
two-plus hours," he continued. "No one
was late and the timing worked out
great."
