You mean the guy that muffed like 3/4 kick returns in the NC game? Yeah, hopefully he heads elsewhere.

Ok that makes sense. Hopefully it would be different since in this case its just his brother trying to ride Vonns coattails and not his dad trying to control everything.

Yeah I really worded that horrible. Bell is a good talent, and would probably love to get him. Just am weary of family members getting involved.
(I think he goes to Bama anyways)

@GerdOzone: RT @WGuthrieESPN
Hearing Ridgeland's Vonn Bell has given #Alabama a "soft-verbal" commitment. Nick Saban visited Bell today at Ridgeland.

Derek Young ‏@Derek11W RT @Miles11W Vonn Bell told me the rumor of giving Alabama his soft verbal is NOT true.

If he did give them a silent verbal, it makes sense for him to deny doing so. Cant' blame the kid, that's for sure.

Even if it isn't true it seems the writing is on the wall. I've seen a couple people suggest OSU is sitting good with him but it looks more and more like Bell is heading to Bama. Usually if that is the general feeling right after he just visited campus that's not a good sign.

Send Bell to Bama. They pay better.

Dontre to start. Then I suppose it's one less big school to compete with for spread QBs

Well we are going after Wilson hard and apparently just offered 4* twins that are committed to Oregon as well.

OSU recruiting has been going crazy the last 5 days! Really excited about offering Dontre Wilson (former ORE commit) and having him schedule an official visit to Ohio State. Kid's highlight film is impressive. He can burn rubber! Reminds me a lot of all the speedster RB/slot WR combos that Ubran Meyer had at Florida in Harvin, etc. Can't think of the one dude's name, the Gator that was the fastest player in college football just 2 or so years ago (don't think he played under Urban, though). What was his name? That speed in the slot is something OSU has been lacking. We've had more Brian Hartline-type receivers in that position instead of the Percy Harvins.

Demps? He was a mediocre football player.

Osu is very hot on the recruiting front right now.

Yes, Demps. He wasn't a great football player, but he could FLY! And he made huge plays for the Gators. Tedd Ginn-like. Maybe not as fast as Ginn, but quicker, and made big plays like Ginn. I'm not sure we have that guy right now on the OSU roster. Philly Brown is our most "dynamic" player (other than Braxton). Brown is nothing like Ginn, Demps, or Harvin.
